Pine Barrens at World Woods Golf Club

I played the Pine Barrens course and loved the layout. Lots of bunkers, kind of like Pine Valley in NJ. Challenging, but almost impossible to lose a golf ball. Not like the typical Florida course with tons of water everywhere. The greens were slow the day we played; it had rained hard the day before and the morning of our round. But we are planning to go back on a dry day.

My review of stars is from my day on the course back in April. We were not able to play yesterday December 14 , because it rained all day. Hoping to play in the near future.

Course is on great shape. Overseeding was well done. Greens are quick and hilly. May your flat stick prove accurate.

These courses are public golf at its finest. Come here for the golf and practice facilities. You'll love it.

Pine Barrens course is in the top 10 of all courses I played in the last 35 years. Reminds one of playing courses in Wisconsin with the typography.....l Hills and Valleys and reminds me of a mini Whistling Straits. You will not be disappointed. If you are tired of playing the generally flat courses in Florida be sure to make the trip to World Woods!

Great challenging greens, lovely tees, groomed fairways,. Lost scope, went back one hole to find it .. no one found it which was strange. Otherwise it was a great place even if it rained intermittently..

The course is very challenging but is very peaceful to play there, no houses around you just concentrate on you game.

My wife and I played Pine Barrens on a beautiful sunny afternoon. This is such a visually stunning course that you can't help but just stand on the tee and wonder where to hit your drive. Thankfully we could take the time to do that because we didn't see another golfer in front of us or behind us until the 16th hole This despite the course Marshall (a great guy by the way) telling us to pack our patience because the course was really busy.

A wonderful day that we would love to repeat. We're already booked for another round.

We played the Pine Barrens course and it was fantastic. The course was well maintained, challenging, and beautiful overall. I especially loved that there were no houses on the golf course. It was a great morning of golf with peace and quiet, aside from the occasional cow mooing. Pace of play was perfect, we never felt rushed and never had to wait on a hole. It was a great value for the money. My only suggestion is that they look at updating the clubhouse, it was a little dated. Staff was very friendly though and there is a wide selection of apparel available in the pro shop. Even though it’s an hour drive for us to get there I will definitely be back!

This is a very nice course. More hills and trees than on most Florida courses. I always enjoy playing here. The course is in great shape!!

Haven’t played Pine Barrens in many years and when I did it carried a much higher fee. Can honestly say the layout still rocks. Challenging but not brutal. Grounds are a bit more rough around the edges then in my past visits, but course is a good shape. Check it out if in the area.

Two words describe World Woods. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!!!!!!!
