Pine Barrens at World Woods Golf Club

Played the Pine Barrens course and what a treat it was. Certainly not your typical Florida course.

this is a beautiful course which is impeccably maintained with a very helpful and friendly ranger

Have not played World Woods for several years. Will definitely play again. Great rate on golf Now. Tes,g greens and fairways all in superb condition.

Great layout. The course was in excellent condition. Very tough but fair. Would definitely play again.

One of the more speedy places we play but always worth it

Great track. 6 hour Friday round. 5 some playing ahead of us. No ranger in sight.

Tees, fairways, traps and greens in great shape. Enjoy your round by playing the tees that are commensurate with your ability.

Course is an absolute gem. It was in beautiful condition, and fun to play. It truly is deserving of their rating in Golf Digest. Go out of your way to play this track!

Travelled 1.5 hrs here and back but well worth it . This is a very special course. Wonderful layout, beauty and conditions. all lies were good (when I was in the fairway anyway), the greens were true and there was nice green grass even this time of the year around the greens. Lots of waste areas but the sand was playable. Will return! Would like to have seen a few ballwashers on the course.

The golf courses here are both good. We were expecting theme to be great, which is perhaps what left us a bit disappointed.

We came as a day on a golf trip with 8 guys.

The conditioning was good, but the greens were quite slow. The practice area is great.

Overall, we really enjoyed this place as a day on our trip.

This course is challenging. It is not a hit your ball straight down the fairway course. You have to have a strategy. Although it is not as scenic as Rolling Oaks, it is cosmetically appealing. Good course if you are not a fan of water hazards. There are none for women and just a few for the men.

Every time I come to Tampa (2-3 times per year) I make a point of playing at this course. It has a great layout, one can get a good rate on golf now and the course maintains a good pace of play. That is really appreciated this time of year when so many Florida courses pack in the out-of-towners - charge them an arm and a leg and then forget them altogether so they can suffer through excruciatingly long rounds. World Woods has figured out how to stack tee times so this does not occur.

This course was extremely challenging with so many waste sand bunkers. The course is in the best condition I've ever played on. Their driving range is like no other...your have to see to believe. I will return to play next year.

My friend and I have played both courses before and todays round was just as enjoyable as the other times we have played at World Woods Keep up the good work its a great place to play ! its a tad far 85 miles but well worth it !
