Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Love this place
Played Pine Barrens a few times but jumped at the chance to play Rolling Oaks for the first time. Played at 1.30pm on my own and hardly seen anyone else all day. Course in great condition, although I played 'winter rules' and preferred my lies etc but apart from off the fairway in scrubb areas, fairways were very good. Pine Barrens has the edge with some extra special holes but for a confidence boosting round Rolling Oaks fitted the bill, nothing too testing.
One of the best.
I love both courses, each have their challenges. Greens rolling very smooth and fairways wee plush. Never mind the trip up for it is worth the drive. Very peaceful.
Ahilts
Absolutely horrible. Fairways looked like rough. Had put sand on the greens. No one said anything about that when we checked in. Still charged full price. Shame on the staff will not be returning!! Hustled out of my hard earned money
PREMIUM COURSE--2nd RATE AMENITIES
Excellent layout and a creative design that favors the left-to-right player. Well-maintained and visually appealing. The greens were disappointingly slow for a premier-level facility and the pace of play was a little slow (4.5 hours) but not excruciating. Unlike most premium facilities, range balls were an up-charge ($6.50 for a small bag). Walked away from my range area to change clubs and someone took my remaining range balls! That is not a problem with complimentary range balls. An attendant off-loaded my clubs at the bag drop, but was not available at the end of the round. I don't mind paying a premium price to play at a premium facility, but I would like to get premium treatment. Thankfully, I was able to snag a GolfNow "Hot Deal" for this round! As an added bonus, some GolfNow reps were on site and cruising the course with a Taylormade promo and I scored a couple dozen Project@ balls! Thanks GolfNow!!!
Outstanding!
2nd time playing here, got a great Hot Deal, and enjoyed the heck out of it. Green Fairways are few and far between this time of year. Greens were real slow, but rolled rolled true. Overall experience from the Pro Shop to the 18th hole was great!
One of the best condition courses in Florida.
Awesome conditions . Played Rolling Oaks . The greens were outstanding. The course conditions were in great shape. Thanks to ranger Jim we played in 4 hrs flat. Had another fun day at World Woods.
Love this course!
Second time I have played this course. I love this course! Conditions are always great, layout is great, allows for low scores.

Pure Golf
This was our second trip to World Woods but the first time playing Rolling Oaks. We played Pine Barrens on a trip to Florida last year. Rolling Oaks does not get the accolades of it's sister course from the golf magazine rankings but is very good in its own right.
Atypical of Florida golf but there are very few water hazards on the course although the course still has much trouble to fine. The fairways are generally large however on numerous holes being caught on the wrong section of the fairway can lead to being obstructed by the one of the many large oak trees on the course.
The collection of par threes were very interesting with good variety of distances to test various parts of your bag. The par 4 15th would be the toughest. It's long with an uphill 2nd shot. With a large bunker front left of the green to catch shots not struck well enough to fly all the way to the green.
In summary great course worth the effort to get.
World Woods Rolling Oaks
Good golf course, I like the varied terrain, not a typical Florida golf course. Golf Now makes this a great value.
A Great Find!!!
I am rather new to the area. I Googled 'golf courses' near me and this came up. I used the website to explore the course and made a tee time on line. Very easy and accommodating.
Once I got to the course, everyone there was friendly and informative.
The course itself was really challenging for a weekend duffer like myself, but loads of fun. Very beautiful for the area.
We will return.
Rolling in not Barren...
Ten years ago I played the Pine Barrens. This time Rolling Oaks. Have recently played over 10 courses in the area and I found the greens here the fastest and truest. Even the most used tees were in excellent condition. The golfers must appreciate the course since I found few unrepaired ball marks. I lost a my driver's head cover (how is that possible) but some kind person turned it in to the starter. That topped off a wonderful day of golf.
Well worth a visit
Said to be one of the top-rated courses in the country. I believe it. Clubhouse is not fancy but they have good driving ranges and putting greens. I got a special with a rewards discount, so played for only $22. Two courses; I played Rolling Oaks. Hardest part for me was the greens. They are large. Not especially fast but tricky to judge the speed. Bunkers are not the white powdery sand I'm used to but I managed to get out of three without difficulty.
A must play
The course is suitable for all levels of golfers and is in good condition. If its your first time playing this course the greens can eat you up and three putting is not uncommon. Fantastic course.
Challenging course
This is an absolute beautiful course. Well groomed, wide fairways with hazards. The greens are the largest I've ever played on and very difficult. I hope to be back again!
Love this course! The 360* driving range is huge, along with the putting green. The course itself was in amazing shape, from the tee boxes to the fast greens. The course has a great layout, providing multiple challenges each hole and great scenery. I'd recommend this course to any average+ golfer.
