Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Great price for a very good course
$31 for an 8:00 am tee time was very good! Beautiful course kept very well. I would suggest waiting until the sun burns off the dew as there were lots of grass clippings that stuck to everything! Other than that nice course!
One of the best golf courses in the area
Great layout, lots of elevation changes and doglegs
Great Practice Round!
North Central Florida Golf Week Am Tour Practice Round Today For The Luigi's Pizza of Brooksville Golf Classic. The Staff Was Great. Also The Course Was In Amazing Condition As They Just Mowed The Greens And Fairways. #8 Par 3 Is A Must Play!
after 4inches of rain
have played this course many times before
have had tons of rain in prior 3 weeks in fact 4 inches the day before. figured it would be cart path only it was but surprisingly the front was in great shape about the 8th hole management came out and told us they were lifting restrictions on some of the remaining holes i was very surprised by this as it was a late afternoon round and there weren't many people on the course and they didn't have to do that but it was a really nice gesture on there part it was extremely hot and a welcome surprise there was some standing water on the back but didn't really come into play overall as usual a treat to play. They
have two 18 hole courses there and this is my perefered of the two even though the other is ranked higher by the state thanks for A GREAT ROUND
Go play!
Great condition, great drainage, no restrictions! Couldn't believe there were no wet area's anywhere on the course, after all the rain in the last month.......
the course I've been looking for! 4.62 stars
beautiful surroundings. not a housing development! loved every minute!
Very challenging course
Course is very challenging for the amateur player. Fairways and greens very nice and very nice bunkers . I would recommend this course to any of my friends very pretty course.
Among the top courses in Florida
Excellent course. Beware of directions provided by Golf Now. Dumped us in the middle of no where. Barely made our tee-time.
World Woods
Excellent course with fantastic layout and condition. Great value for the money.
Rolling Oaks Review
The course was in decent shape. Appeared to be some issues with the fairways and improper cutting. Greens were extremely slow. I know , it's Florida and Bermuda greens but they were way to slow.
Staff was awesome and even let us tee off early.
Beautiful Course
Drove up from Tampa and worth the trip; beautiful course with stunning views unlike anything we have in Tampa Bay. Challenging but still fun to play. Can't wait to play again, staff and ranger were on scene and helpful. Practice green is UNBELIEVABLE!
Great Day in the Woods
We knew the greens had been recently punched, but that made the price and value even better. This is a great course, with tree lined fairways but still plenty of room, elevation changes, beautiful views, no houses, and lots of different birds and animals. The greens are contoured and create very testing and interesting, but fair, putting opportunities. Well worth the drive.
Fantastic Course
The course is absolutely beautiful. Lots of elevation changes that make the course. The have upgraded their carts which was needed since I played pine barrens last. Course is definitely worth the money. Had a great time.
Rainy Day Fun on a Golf Now Hot Deal
The tees, the greens, the fairways were all outstanding.
A couple of spots on a couple of greens being repaired but more aesthetic than anything. Golf Now Hot Deal made this a steal. This is personally my favorite World Woods course.
Beautiful corse great greens
Loved the corse. Very large and challenging greens!!! Had a blast!!!
Fantastic day of golf!
This course is always in great condition and the staff is always accomodating. I'll play every time there is a Hot Deal!
Rolling Oaks
I just played this course 6 days before, it was in great condition, but they sanded the greens and it was not any help to us playing today. In a few days after either some watering or rain it may be in good condition again. I am not a greens keeper, but hopefully it will improve again in the next few days.
What a great place....
World Woods, as usual, was awesome! From tee box to green the course was in great shape. 60 mile drive to get there is well worth it. Rolling oaks is a great layout with greens that test your putting ability! Looking forward to the next trip there!
Great zcourse
Let me be clear from the start that this is a top quality course as good as any I have played in Europe or elsewhere in the USA. The layout is superb with tees to suit golfers of all abilities. The greens were in good condition although slow by Florida standards on the day we played. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great first 9 holes getting around in just over 1.5 hours. Unfortunately after 3 holes on the back nine we came up behind a group of 5 players who were noisy and playing from the back tees when they did not appear to have the skills to do so. The Ranger told us that they did not permit groups to play as a 5 ball and that he had told them to let us through. They did not do so and my wife did not want to push the issue as she felt uncomfortable. This did spoil the back 9 for us as we were waiting on every shot. However, I recognise the difficulty of dealing with people who flout the rules and this incident will not stop us returning to Rolling Oaks whenever we are in Florida.
Amazing course
This is one of my personal favorites, 8 & 9 are just breath taking with the view along with being challenging. I'd absoltuly recommend anyone to play amateur or pro!
