Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Great course no bones about it
I have played Pine Barrens a few times and wanted to try the Rolling Oaks, I was not disappointed in anything but the number on my card. The only thing I would like to see is a printed course guide for sale. The scorecard layout description is not detailed. With 20 mph wind and42 degrees at tee time I could of used the help. The course was in beautiful condition, fairways, greens, and bunkers filled with sugar!
Great Course,, great partners, poor staff
This is a beautiful course with great challenging holes. I was paired up with some good friendly Golfers. I was greeted by staff like I was invisible, whats your tee time , How would you like to pay. I informed them I needed clubs, price was reasonable until I received the clubs. The clubs were a disaster of odds and ends with worn grips, only 1 club had a newer grip.
No cart girl until the 11th hole only after we asked a ranger to get her.
I would play here again but only because of the course.
Supurb coarse
We took advantage a golfnow hot deal and got tremendous value on the Rolling Oaks course.. Fairway, greans and bunkers were very well maintained. All staff were very professional. Don't get fooled by the slope from the whites. It is more challenging than you think.
Great Day
Nice/fun layout. Greens in really good condition; good speed. Wide enough fairways but bad shots get into some trouble.
Great
Beautiful course!!! Great lay out! Rolling oaks is probably the best course I've played.
nice wide and forgiving fairways, good layout. The greens were very fast, but it's smooth and in good condition.
The tee times were close together and a lot of doubles, and some walkers, so it was very slow play on the 1st 9. We ended up doing the 1st nine again instead of following all the slow pokes. The ranger was OK with it.
real gem--fast contoured greens--plush fairways
This is a must play, the fairways are very nice and the greens are very sloped and fast---no gimmes here. I did not play the tips at 7333 yrs and I'am glad I didn't. The pin placements can be very difficult no matter where they put them.We played at 2 pm as a twosome and ran into 2 foursomes , one on #3 and the other on #13 who let us play right threw (thanks guys) it took us 3 hrs to play , what a pleasure. This course will humble you in more ways than one, gives you some idea of how good the pro's really are. Give this one a go you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. ps--just have fun and enjoy it and GOOD LUCK.
Overall great day
First time playing the rolling oaks course. The front none greens were in average condition and we're not consistent with quality of course as well as fairways due to time of year I believe. Second nine was noticeably better. Overalll, our group preferred the Pine Barrens courses lay out but would like to play the Oaks in the rainy season again with full growth of grass and trees.
Challenging but Fun
Really enjoyed playing Rolling Oaks. It's challenging and fun. Obstacles are picturesque and add to the experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'll be back !!
The course was an excellent shape
Fairways and Greens were in immaculate condition.
Can't wait to go back!
Rolling Oaks, excellent contrast to Pine Barrens
Really enjoyed the course, great contrast with Pine Barrens. Pace slow though (4 1/2) even with an earlyish tee time of 842.
A little overrated.
Not sure if it's the norm for the winter months in Florida or if the Wisconsin summertime grass spoils me, but I thought course was very bare. Layout did not impress our group at all. Did not think course was worth the 99.00. Played Pine Barrens next day and thought was much better.
Great course
Great course, greens great, fairways average for the area.
Great track…unfriendly pro shop
Enjoyed the course immensely.
Flew in from Canada for a few days to play this course.
All staff in pro shop were abrupt and unfriendly. They weren't busy but registering our threesome seemed to be an inconvenience for them.
We played Pine Barrens immediately after this round and we received same poor treatment.
We spent a few hundred bucks that day for 6 green fees but I wouldn't return.
Rangers wee great!
rude clubhouse staff overshadows decent course
The staff inside the clubhouse is rude and uninterested in assisting. Outside staff is pleasant and course is nice. Lunch waitress and pro shop staff is the worst I have ever experienced. Drive to the course just in time to play and avoid clubhouse entirely.
Always beautiful!
We often play here - Rolling Oaks is just beautiful and well kept. Unfortunately, because of the rain the day before, it was cart path only. We tried to switch to the other course, but they were booked solid. We love everything about World Woods!
I'll be back !!
What a day ! Beautiful design and conditioning. Hat off to the grounds superintendant...he has done a superb job. Exciting and challenging...every hole a new and beautiful experience. Can not wait to play the Pine Barrens next. Eric Porter
FANTASTIC PLACE TO PLAY GOLF
Iv played both course many times and its always been in great condition if I remember correctly both course came in America, s top 100 in 2004 ! Worth the deal anyday and definitely worth the drive ! Lovly setting great facilities always on my list
Needs Work
Course was not in the shape I expected for a course that is being hyped as one of the better ones around. It's not in good shape and needs some work think World Woods overall needs an infusion of cash and work. Good practice facility and that's about it.
Darren
Two of the best courses on US soil. Highly recommend.
