About
Editor's Note: Course closed and redesigned as Cabot Citrus Farms.
Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Great layout with beautiful greens!!
Really love playing this course.. Beautiful condition, challenging, very friendly and courteous staff.. Great place to play golf !!!
AN excellent play at great value.
A well maintained golf course which will challenge you course management abilities. The greens are in excellent shape. I would definitely play again.
Beautiful Facility
I played for this course for the first time last week with my wife. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The course and practice facilities were immaculate. We played the Rolling Oaks course and thought the greens were pretty difficult. Very large and lots of multi-tier putts.
Oh yeah...and they gave us a free cat :-)
Thanks?
The fairways and green a pristine
I am going to play the course again. I enjoyed the course conditions.
Perfect Condition
Worth the drive. Great day great course. Greens were fast and fairways plush.
Nice and easy
Even for high handicappers like my wife and myself the course is very playable. Water comes into play on only one beautiful par 3.
The entire course is in excellent condition and the staff, especially marshal and greenkeepers are very friendly and helpful.
We paid 21 dollars each, which is a ridiculously low fee for such a wonderful course.
Great Florida golf.
Rolling Oaks is a beautiful Florida course. Playing from the white tees, it was moderately challenging, yet very fair. For the scratch golfer, the back tees would prove to be a great experience. The fairways were in wonderful shape and the greens rolled true. I will definitely be back!
Pristine golf course
Marvellous golf course, the par 3 is the amaizing, especialy # 8,the pars five is very longer,we played very good,I recomend this golf course always.
prinstine course ,pristine conditons = best course in Florida
spectaculer layout and 100% secluded in the woods, the best conditions and course we ever played on.
Best Course Around Citrus and Hernando Counties
What a beautiful course with great, hospitable employees who just want you to have a great golf experience! The fairways were in pristine shape, the greens were good except for the aeration, but still played true.
Well worth the money
I always love playing this course. You cannot find any other courses (this maintained) around the area for the same value. Everyone should play here.
Great experience
Great course. Great staff. Would play again. If you can make it out to this course, it is worth it.
World woods
This course I hear is around $100 during season which is obviously out of my price range. However we got it
As a hot deal which afforded us the opportunity to play it and WOW. Definitely the best course I've played in the hernando/pasco area and one of the best courses I've ever played
What a great all around experience
Great like always
Greens were a tad slow but course was very green. Staff is always nice. Rangers are on top of everything. Went out around 245 and was done by 6. Even took a 20 min break because of some thunder.
I will play World Woods as long as I live in Tampa.
Worth the drive
This course was in incredible shape and the staff was super friendly. The course is open and is part of the landscape which is wonderful. Since it is so far out of town it is extremely quiet. Best course I've played in Florida.
Great Course
This course is absolutely beautiful. Even with all the recent rain the course is still completely dry and is in great shape.
World Woods Rolling Oaks
Very beautiful golf course but not time managed by rangers. One slow group in front of us ruined what should have been a great day of golf. When we informed the staff of the slow play they didn't seem to be too concerned about it. Love playing both courses there but not sure I would ever go back!
My wife and I played the course in the middle of July and it was in pristine condition. I would highly recommend.
Staff is very friendly, the starter was helpful and friendly. Both courses, Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks are both in fantastic shape. Pretty impressive for the middle of July in Florida. I would highly recommend World Woods to anyone. We booked on Golfnow and it was very inexpensive. Loved it!!
Great greens
Large greens but by no means easy to putt, bunkers to escape off box and around greens, in fairways at the right spots. Longer than it looks but a great course
Plays LOOONNNGGG from the back tees
For the first time I can remember, I got to hit my driver on at least half of the par 4s.
Great shape in fairways and on the greens. Can't wait to play it as well as the other track.
