About
Editor's Note: Course closed and redesigned as Cabot Citrus Farms.
Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

very old style....
no ball washers, very poor signage at t-boxes, the course was merely average considering what i had heard about it, but not sure if the barrens may have been the course my
advisors were recommending...
great courses, friendly staff and cart girls!!!
fantastic everything!!! would definately return !!
putting drama
Love this course, it is not quite as beautiful as the pine barrens course but, the undulating greens make for putting drama. We always arrive at the course as a couple, so we were teamed up with another twosome. One of the guys was quite aggressive, cursing and throwing his driver on the first tee, then later having a confrontation with the group ahead. The fairways were wide open, there are no houses on this course. No lost balls. It's all about the golf. Would go back again and again.
Not the most difficult but played in 3.5 hours and enjoyed every minute
Staff was outstanding. Condition far above good but not pristine. Layout allows most players to hit every club IF correct tee is used. Really attractive par 3 holes.
Every hle has a uniqueness.
Excelent course. The best I've played on in the last ten years since moving to Florida.
Worth the Drive
Rolling Oaks is a very well maintained course, with ample fairways and large undulating greens. It also has a huge practice area that is in prime shape as well. Take some practice putts on the sloping practice green - you will be glad you did when you hit some of the greens on the course. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with a smile. Overall, a nice day of golf.
Great course!
Pace of play was excellent, layout was great and greens were near perfect
Rolling Oaks is a beautiful course that you can shoot a good score if you stay in the short grass.
Rolling Oaks has wide fairways and large undulating greens. I showed up one hour pass my tee time, but the golf shop quickly found me a tee time. My only compliant was I was playing alone and the foursome in front of me would not let me play through.
Great golf course great value
Championship course plenty of bunkers and water hazards yet very fair. The fairways were wide enough off the tee to make it very playable. The greens were in excellent condition with plenty of changes of elevations making putting difficult but fair. Overall a great golf course
Had a hard time adjusting the ratings. Not as good as posted but everything was good or better.
Disappointed that their price was the same as yours. Plus I had to pay your fee. Not worth using this site.
A Course you would travel a long way to play
Certainly a hidden gem of a golf course that lives up to all expectations.
Great value with end of October special rates.
Generous fairways with lots of elevation changes. Greens are large but challenging with plenty of undulations. Great value, especially with special autumn rates.
always enjoy my experience at this track
One of the best values available at golf now. When looking for a place to play in this area world woods is the choice.
Rolling Oaks at World Woods is one of my favorite places to play.
This course is not only pleasing to the eye with its rolling hills and tree lined fairways but is also fun to play. 5 sets of tee boxes lets you play to your skill level and the course has wide fairways which may loosen your inhibitions to rare back and let it fly. The greens were in great shape and truly challenging with their undulations. The course staff were very friendly and helpful. The on course marshals went out of their way to keep the pace of play moving on a day with no open tee times after 7:30AM. I will be back to play again and again (even with the 85 mile drive)
Awesome
This is a beautiful course and golf experience, very humbling.
Great days golf !!!
We booked through Golf Now and enjoyed the day and the golf,we found the staff to be friendly and the course very enjoyable to play and are looking forward to our next visit
Rolling Oaks is a great course, varied difficulty with manicured greens and fairways
My husband and I rate Rolling Oaks as our favorite course. We are both intermediate golfers and feel Rolling Oaks offers enough of a challenge and a variety of difficulty to keep us coming back. We both agree it's a great bargain for the money!
You have to see this place!!!!
There are 2 courses here and the best practice facility I have ever seen. I have played both courses and they are both incredible. There are very few places you can play these days and not see a house!
I've played over 200 Golf Courses & this is in my top 3 of all-time!
We played one of the top golf courses in the US for $15 after 2pm & you'll never get that anywhere else... Thanks GolfNow!
Beautiful Course / Excellent Practice Facilities
Played Rolling Oaks - First Time at the course. The course was in excellent shape and the greens were true. Make sure you get there early you would hate to miss the practice facilities
