Candler Hills Golf Club

This course is by far the best course condition in the area . the restaurant and outdoor dining is fabulous and the people friendly. I went through a golf pass for a really reduced rate but even if I paid the full price it would have been worth it for the condition.

First time playing there. Great time! Paired up with a couple great golfers as well. Course was in excellent shape and was a challenge! Highly recommend this course.

There are a few great golf courses in central Florida that are outstanding from the perspective of layout, difficulty, beautiful scenery, outstanding and truly helpful and friendly staff. Candler Hills is one of the top 3.

A year ago I would not have voiced that opinion but now I do because it is true.

Even the group of golfers I joined were helpful and friendly offering advice on certain holes.

The fairways immaculate; the greens fast and true, the sand traps raked and manicured. Even the flags were new.

I felt as if I was playing in a PGA tournament and it was grand.

There are some great holes like the 600+ par 5 5th hole that was truly a beast. Said to be the longest par 5 in Florida.

Most of all the course was fair and fun and you could find your ball most times after hitting it in the tree line.

The restaurants were many and accessible.

We all had fun and that is what golf is about.

The course is so nice it’s actually under priced. Definitely play here.

My wife and I played on Saturday afternoon. We were matched up with two members who shared their knowledge of the course freely and were just very pleasant to spend a few hours with.

Staff was awesome from arrival through our visit to the 19th hole for a cold draft and gin and tonic.

This is one of the best courses we have played in the area and if you take into consideration the greens fees it is by far a great value.

We will return!

Great course. Pretty friendly tee to green with large undulating greens that rolled very smooth. Whole course in great shape,

My wife and I played at 1:50 on Friday afternoon we were paired up with Juan Lopez a lead member of the grounds keeping crew.

We had a very fun round. The course is in excellent shape and from the moment we checked in we were treated very warmly by the Pro Shop Staff and Bob who helped is with our cart and explained pin position and where there was water and bathrooms during the round. Playin with Juan was a treat too as he is a very good golfer and added lots of positive reinforcement to my wife and I to improve our game. We visited the restaurant for some great food and cold beer once we completed the round where Lori kept the food and beer coming until we had our fill. Thanks for a great afternoon!
