Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course
About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Golfer Reviews
Overseading
Still cart path but have to say the course for this time of the year is in a lot better shape than others. Greens are filled in. Little slow and inconsistent, but considering it's still cart path only, they're in pretty good shape.
Good time
Course was in good shape…it was cart path only but play flowed well…we were paired with a very nice couple…it was a fun Tiime
Very slow play made worse by post-overseeding "cart path only".
The real problem was the starter that allowed a 2-some without a tee-time to squeeze in front of us. One of the 2-some played in flip flops and the other may have never played golf before. With a 12:16 tee time we made the turn at 2:55. So, we asked for a refund and did not play the back 9. This a very poorly managed golf course with a bad starter and no ranger to be seen.
October Golf
Course was in transition. Fairways were brown and greens were in ok shape. Greens were hard. No drinking water on the course
Bear Creek Championship course
The course was in excellent shape and the fairways were fantastic. Hopefully the overseed will be good because of the course conditions now.
Overcast and rain
Cool day, excellent course conditions. Even wet putting was good and true. A pleasure to play today
Not too bad for the money
Nice fairways and greens. Fair setup except for a couple of blind tee shots. Excellent practice facility. Lots of work going on the course but should be completed soon.
A gem in Chandler
My friend and I have gone there about 6 times in the last month. We have really enjoyed the course. Plenty of different designed holes. It's in good condition generally speaking. They have been updating the sprinkler system and it still has been very playable.
106 Degrees
Fairways and Tees in great shape, Greens rolled well and were firm. Staff was exceptionally friendly.
Played from the tips, challenging.
Good course but can improve
Course was in good shape, however, whoever is mowing the greens needs some more training. There were multiple greens with spots cut down to the dirt and multiple gouges in the green. Green #14 had a 1/2 inch tall gouge right near the pin. Rangers were out early but nowhere to be seen on the back 9 and the group ahead of us had 2 holes open in front of them.
Decent course and shape
Fairly flat. No big elevation changes. Greens flat but many breaks that aren't seen. Rough thick and pretty plush. Greens medium speed.
