On the Classic Club's scenic landscape, golfers will find a wide variety of trees including olive trees, towering pines, and California pepper, but unlike the many other golf courses in Palm Springs, there isn't a single palm tree. The Classic Club opened in 2006 to much acclaim and has since garnered a following amongst locals and visitors. Formerly a host site for the Bob Hope Classic, the challenging layout has an interesting mix of tour-worthy holes including intimidating par 3s balanced by reachable par-5s and short par-4s. Water hazards come into play on 13 holes. The back nine begins with a memorable stretch of holes. The par-4 10th is a tight driving hole with an elevated green and the 11th hole requires a shot over water. The stretch ends with the par-3 12th, which also plays over water to a well protected green.

Classic Course is Classic!
This course is has a challenging layout and is in very good condition. With a multitude of interesting layout, bunkering and water features in play, add the wind, which was significant and you get a more than fair test forth average player. Outstanding clubhouse and restaurant make for a unique experience.

From tee to green this course is consistent in it's impeccable upkeep.
Each hole has it's own distinct layout. You will not get bored.
Greens are quick and true.
Why the PGA stopped including this course on the old Bob Hope tournament is a mystery to me.
