The Classic Club

Absolutely a must play in Palm Springs. The place oozes class - from the welcome to the little gifts to the 5 star golf course. You know you're on a class course when the first tee grass looks better than most of the greens you have played on ! Fairways immaculate - you could stick a flag in them anywhere and they'd be better than most of the greens elsewhere ! Sure - it's not cheap but class usually costs !

I had heard great things about the course, and I wasn't disappointed. The course is in good shape for summer, though some of the fairways were soaked to the point of having mud balls in 100 degree weather. I wouldn't want any part of this course from the tips, especially on a windy day. I played the white tees and it was fun. I had trouble with the speed of the greens, but I'm not used to Bermuda greens. I don't think it's my favorite course in the desert, but it's a good one.

Staff was very nice. Very clean facility. I will diffidently return.

Very good for your money. The most imortant play with in your ability ( proper tee box ) a great test for concetration. Will always play when in Palm Springs.

Based on all the reviews that I've read on this course, I must say it has been on the top of my list of courses to play here in the Valley and it didn't disappoint. A great facility, layout, and course conditions (even though they had just versi-cut and dusted the greens). I received a great rate on GOLFNOW and the course provided a free towel and $15 Food/Beverage credit on top of that! Highly recommeded/Must play!

I had wanted to play the course for sometime and finally did. Why did I wait so long? A wonderful facility with extraordinary staff. From the moment I dropped my bag I was treated like a member for a day. I actually told the pro my own club could learn from their customer service. The course was in very good shape despite the heat. The fairways were plush and the greens ran true with good speed. They had bottomless ice cold bottle water which was needed and appreciated. The beverage cart and Grill were both very good with excellent employees. All in all a great day. I will go back and I highly recommend the Club to others.

The course was in really good condition.
The greens were s little slow maybe from bring aerated a few weeks ago.

The price was a good summer rated for GolfNow. Came with a free Classic Club towel & $15 food voucher.

Disappointing to know that I booked on line and picked a time that for whatever reason did not include the food voucher. Same price for other time times in this time slot. For example, 8 minutes later or earlier this would be included. So not only paid Golf Now a booking fee but ended up not getting what was promoted on the site! Second time that your site has been misleading during our vacation. Lots of choice both directly at courses and on other similar golf sites. Definitely will be looking elsewhere in the future!!

First 9 was really slow. Was raining most the time so that didn't help. But after 10 holes the groups in front packed it in and we ripped out for the rest of the holes. It's a beautiful course and would wanna play it again on a sunny day.

The course was very playable. The pace was great we finished in 3h10m
And enjoyed every minute. Just wish they would have lowered the temperature a bit it was 107. But we had a great time. There was plenty of ice and water around the course to keep you refreshed. The staff was great very knowledgeable and friendly. I would play there in a heart beat.

The course is beautiful in spite of it being in sunmer condition. The green had been punched and sanded a week ago. I always like playing this course...when it isn't windy. Lol

Usually this course is in great condition, but right now it is virtually unplayable. Horrible greens and horrible fairways. It should not be open for play.

A must play!!! Five star all around. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was great. Will play again.

We had an 8 am tee time and we went off on time. The course is in great condition and very challenging. The staff was great and the food in Bellatrix was excellent. Can't wait to lay here again.

A very nice facility from drive up to finish. Staff was nice and helpful , carts are outstanding , and the food was very good. foursome played in about 4 hours on a beautiful course that challenged in many ways. Some dry or dead spots but new sod was being installed. and did not affect play at all. A great value for the price

Excellent course and good value for the money. The club house is under construction but we were told it will be done at the end of June.

This is a fun course with more then one signature hole. I will defiantly play here again.

This course was beautiful but unfortunately it is located in a wind tunnel. Since it is just north of the I-10 freeway next to Thousand Palms, the wind can really blow and it did that morning. Many of the trees lean to the East since the hard winds come out of the West and this is a tale tale sign that you get a lot of wind plus the wind turbine farm is located about 5 miles due west of the course. We complained about the winds and their location (wind tunnel) the staffer tried to say it always blows in the desert. Well not if you head to the south in the Coachella Valley. We went to Indian Springs later that day and played another 18 holes and virtually no wind.

Nice golf course, open no houses and requires experienced players. Not a course for high handicaps or beginners!

Required you to be a shot maker with good course management. Great rewards for risk takers but you pay for a poorly played shot. Greens are quick and chipping requires the deft touch. Be wary of sucker pins. Wind adds another exciting challenge. Better to play it long then be short.
