Cimarrone Golf Club

Greens were punched and sanded making them slower than they are already. Had we known, would have played a different day.

We played on the sunday after a Thursday aerification . There was no warning. The greens we awful...sandy, bumpy and slow. They charged full price. We like Cimarrone. Just don't play it right now and/or don't pay full price.

Normally a decent track but it’s rough at the moment. Arrived at 9am, restaurant/bar not open for breakfast food or drinks to take onto the course. It rained pretty good the last couple days so I can’t complain about range mats or cart path only. A lot of the tee boxes, especially par 3’s, are brutal. No where to stand not in a divot. Fairways looked good. The greens were all sand with NO mention when checking in for the tee time. To then spend $100 with out any grass is wild. It’s gonna take 4 weeks for any grass to come through. Our tee time was also pushed back 20 minutes upon check in with no explanation other than “the members mentioned something, I’m not sure”. Just really not a great day from a course that should be fantastic. The lone bright spot was the gentleman getting carts ready and loading/unloading bags. He was a pleasure to chat with briefly.

Tee boxes and greens were just aerated and top dressed so I can’t rate them fairly. I never complain about this because it shows they care (not all courses do) and I know it will pay off in the coming weeks. If you don’t agree, stop whining, go play someplace else (or go work on your short game) , and come back another time. Fairways are a solid B+ and judging by them, the greens and tee boxes would probably be the same after the aeration. Course layout was interesting with some water here and there to be mindful of. Nice grill room. Pace of play was fine. Ranger and starter were very nice. Players fix your ball marks please! I’ll play it again.

Took a group of friends on a Friday afternoon. Price was unbeatable, got off on time. Pace of play was excellent, cart girl was available and timely, course condition was amazing considering the lack of rain. Club house food was delicious and we made it for happy which was even better. Recommend if you have not been in a while to check it out.

Course is playing very nicely. Greens and fairways are in good shape. A few tee boxes could use some work, but not too bad.

It was hot and little water out on the course, even at the turn.

Course is in great shape. They are speeding the greens up and it's just a fun place to play. 3 hrs 46 mins is also great. And the staff are a pleasure to deal with.

The course is so-so. To be fair it is a nice community I thought and my expectations was it would be a nicer course than it was. The staff is nice and there are lots of them around but not on the first tee which is across the street.The greens are super slow. The layout is just ok with holes along roads and in neighborhood houses for most of the day. The design has some good holes especially the par 3's but the other holes are just hit a tee shot, hit the green, putt really hard...not much coolness or something special factors. Front 9 ends with a par 3 which I always think should be avoided on a nice course. Maybe it's just not for me

Played for first time.. Index is around 10. It's nothing special. Layout has a few doglegs and pretty tight on some holes. Greens are very slow compared to what I would expect. Staff is nice and people are good people. Maybe it's a great course for others but just not my taste.

Course conditions very good but had to play behind a very slow 4-some from hole 1? No groups in front of them and No ranger checking the course for situations like this? Please Fix This

The course was in very good condition all around. The greens were in good shape but rolled a little slow, fairways and tee boxes in good condition. Will definitely play again.

I have played here quite a few times over the years. The course is in the best condition that I have ever seen it in. Well worth playing.

The course is in great shape. It is a tight course with tons of water, but can be forgiving. It is definitely worth the price of admission and will go back soon.

Course is in very good condition overall. Greens look gorgeous but are a little slow. Thank the new owner for the vast improvement and I'm sure huge investment. Enjoy it every time I play there.

This might be the most underrated golf course in the entire country. The greens were beautiful and the course itself was a ton of fun.

Highly recommend checking out this course!

Cimarrone is in excellent condition and I look forward to returning soon. Very nice course.
