About

Players of all abilities will enjoy Cimarrone Golf Club's par-72, 7,001-yard championship layout. The golf course, often referred to as "The Wild One" because of its intriguing play, opened in 1988.

Designed by David Postlethwait, Cimarrone's manicured course conditions and challenging design provide a fun, player-friendly experience for players of all abilities. Beginners will enjoy Cimarrone's well-defined fairways and magnificent greens. Advanced players will appreciate numerous risk-reward opportunities provided by strategically placed bunkers and a water or marsh feature on every hole. A total of 17 lakes surround the golf course.

Cimarrone Golf Club, which has a rating of 73.3 a slope rating of 136, has been selected as one of the top 50 courses in Florida and was given four stars out of five by Golf Digest.

Fun course, but you have to hit some narrow fairways. Greens are growing in nicely. Definitely adding Cimarrone to my rotation.

Nice track

Enjoyed it very much the course was friendly even with a great deal of water. Greens ran true and were well kept. We teed off at 12:23 and we had a 12:16 tee time so not bad.

Great shape

Cimarron has really come around, I haven't played here in 4-5 years because it used to be in poor shape, but the new ownership has done an excellent job, glad to add this course back to our rotation.

Nice course

Very friendly, welcoming staff in the pro shop. The bartender and servers were fantastic, as was the wrap and fries. The only issue we had was no bathroom in the back nine. One is definitely needed, especially after stopping for drinks and a snack.

Best Buy in St. Augustine

We didn’t pay a lot to play here, and I wasn’t expecting too much, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the course was. Nice layout, and in good shape. My husband and I enjoyed golf so much, that we decided to eat dinner there as well, and again, we were not disappointed!! Food was great, and service was excellent. I will definitely play there again.

The new ownership has done a great job and the course plays very nice. Lots of water in play, but the greens are in great shape. Lots of improvements have been made to the practice facilities too. I am very happy to play here as long as they keep it in good shape.
