Cimarrone Golf Club

New digital screens have been added to the carts. To me, it makes so a much better playing experience less times to run back to the cart to reach for a ranger finder. Better pace of play for everyone. Greens are healing for the better Tee box conditions have improved and overall course upkeep. Trending in the right direction finally.

This course has undergone many improvements since the new owner took over. Completely remodeled Clubhouse, brand, new golf carts with GPS, and attention to details. For example, divots on the tees are filled on a regular basis. A crew fills in the divots on the fairways where golfers have neglected to do so. When I played this morning, all of the traps were freshly raked up to the edge. I am excited about future improvements and look forward to playing at CIMARRONE more often!

Cimarrone and Stillwater present the best values for your money. I am a local and play both of them regularly.

New owners have drastically improved this whole

Played 36 holes and never saw the cart girl. Asked at the clubhouse and was told she is out on the course. Had to buy drinks/food every 9 holes. Little frustrating and it takes away revenue from the course, didn’t get it.

We heard that Cimarrone was under new ownership and wanted to take a look. The clubhouse improvements look very impressive and the course condition was also much improved. Still some work to do on the greens but they rolled pretty well

, … this one is my favorite! A must play in the JAX / St. Augustine area. The clubhouse is completely refurbished. Tee boxes, fairways and sand traps are groomed and excellent. The greens are slow but the ball rolls straight and true. Staff is friendly and professional. With water on 16 holes and mounds around the greens, it is the closest thing to TPC Sawgrass, style, but for a fraction of the price. This course will test every shot in your bag!

Fairways and greens have improved. Putting/Chipping green is better too.

It had rained the two days before so the sand traps had a good bit of water in them. Almost all holes have water hazards on them but it did not significantly add to difficulty of course.

Overall, the course has improved dramatically over the last year. The greens still are very slow and should be cut closer. There are still several places waiting for grass to grow in. Overall good experience for the dollar.

First time playing here in a couple years. The work they’ve put into the course has really paid off and as other recent reviews have said, Cimarrone is back. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all were in great shape. Greens were on the slower side but rolled great. Even after some rain the last few days the course seemed to drain well and the bunkers were still in decent shape. Definitely putting this back in the rotation.

For management: Knocked a star off for the poor attitude from the woman running the shop on Saturday morning (12/16). I slipped and nearly fell on the bathroom floor that was recently mopped so I let her know there was no wet floor sign and that I wasn’t looking for an insurance payday. She just told me “I shouldn’t have been in there” because they were still cleaning. There was also no sign or person to tell me that. Poor communication and attitude towards a customer who was just trying to help you avoid an injury and potential lawsuit.
