Lakeside fun

Great golf course, friendly staffs and a great place to unwind. Pace of play is extremely slow because other golfers don’t understand golf how to let faster players play thru.

Great time at Arrowhead Pointe at Richard B Russell

Great employees

Golfers on the course are very nice

The course is in excellent condition (especially the greens).

I drove 80 minutes to play the course-not knowing what to expect. This is a hidden gem. I hope to play Arrowhead Pointe (weather permitting) before returning home from visiting the in-laws.

Hidden Gem

First time playing here. Wow! Layout was beautiful and tough. Shot placement is important here if you’re a long hitter. Greens rolled true and will challenge break reads. The lack of noise from traffic allows those wanting to enjoy the nature aspect of a golf course is really excellent. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive to experience this course

Accurate course

This course is for the accurate players with narrow fairways and plenty of water hazards. We really enjoyed playing even though we didn't score well at all. I plan on going back and playing again, but will bring plenty of balls.

Worth the Ride

My wife and I recently moved to Anderson SC and found Arrowhead Point on TeeOff. It was described as as having fast greens and to be a shot makers course…our favorite kind of golf. What the reviewers did not mention was how beautiful the lake vistas would be and skill with which the architect routed the course up and back on the name sake point of land. Course conditions are excellent and pace of play reasonable at 4hrs. Apre Golf is non existent as is bag service…DIY, but if you want to play a great golf course this the place and worth the ride.

Nobody working

One pro shop employee was there when we arrived. They had a DNR agent turning people away at the clubhouse when we were making the turn. No food or drinks or anything from the pro shop.
