Amazing Course!

A true Gem! Beautiful and challenging layout with 10/10 fairways and 10/10 green conditions. Very fun course with some beautiful lake views on the back 9! A note to anyone playing here for the first time: golf carts are NOT allowed in the parking lot so bring your bag/gear with you when you check-in to save yourself a trip.

Typical Slow Cart Path Only Saturday Round

Course was in great shape and some of the lake views were amazing on a sunny day., We couldn't figure out why it was "Cart path only" since everything seemed pretty dry despite rain a couple days earlier. This made for a slow round and some backing up at the tee boxes and on fairways. Still had a good time. Love this course.

Masters Week golf

Played Friday AM the wind was blowing 20-40+ MPH yes, it was breezy out by the lake. The course was in good condition just needs another 2-3 weeks of growth to fill out and shoukd be amazing. The greens were very hard for me to read though. Long puts were slow and shorter putts seemed to roll out faster.

I Wish Hickory Knob was in this condition

Great course conditions. Georgia should be proud of this course and its staff. I wish South Carolina took the same pride in the Hickory Knob course. It’s maintenance is pitiful compared to Arrowhead.
