"The condition of the greens was very poor. The rough around the fairways was too long and looked poorly maintained. The course definitely needs better upkeep."

Course is decent for a muni. The layout and length of the course is pretty good.

Cons - plays extremely slow on weekends, chunky unkept greens bad for putting, long grass off the fairway so be prepared to hit a decent shot and still not find your ball

Good muni for the cost. Played on a Monday afternoon for $57, including cart. Was late for our tee time (ride share had issues on the way) and course staff was understanding and helpful and was still able to get us out fairly quickly. Course is 7 miles or so from LAX (without a lot of airport noise) and is a great spot if you’re looking to get in a round before departing LA.

Course contortions were pretty good. Lots of green, good tee boxes, fairways and rough. Greens aren’t bad but some are a little bumpy.

Pace of play wasn’t ideal. Our round was 5-5.5 hours. Early in the round we didn’t have to wait at all but after hole 5 we were consistently waiting.

Overall this is a course worth playing. Just give yourself a little extra time for anything you have planned after.

Don’t play unless you want to be there for 8 hours.

Simply put great to play the course and with a great group. Good time but a 6 hour round is NEVER GOOD - my flight home is shorter back to Boston. Nice staff, great layout, and pretty good shape for the volume of play on it.

Just be careful and follow you gut if you are in a hurry…..we were @ 3 hours on the front and all it takes is one group to cripple pace of play…..and we were behind them.

All in all, it was a long afternoon though a good time was had with 3 other golfers.

Slowest course ever. 40 minute delay because the starter is disorganized, followed by an almost SIX hour round. Not even joking. Course conditions were okay outside of the sloped tee boxes….how do you even accomplish that?!! And finally, the course was so crowded and over booked that they refused me the cart I paid for. Buyer beware when playing this course. Would not recommend especially at the price they’re charging. There are much better courses not far away.

Tee time was pushed back 30 mins, starter than completely missed me and confused me for another twosome and let them go ahead of us. This place is a zoo and completely disorganized. They dont enforce any type of pace of play and let two groups who were clearly there to fool around hold back everyone starting from the 6th hole. Every hole after the 6th was on average a 10 min wait. We left at the turn cause it was tracking to be a 6+ hr round. Unbelievable.

Greens were aerating and will definitely affect putts. Greens are also super tiny so you better nail your approach shots at a super high rate. The narrow fairways and lack of spacing with adjacent fairways, coupled with thick grass on the secondary cuts, will lead to very unpleasant journeys of looking for your balls.
