Westchester Golf Course

This place was pairing up 5somes all day, our group included, really backing up the pace of play. We didn't tee off until 35 minutes after our booked time, with 3 or 4 5somes in front of us. Then at one point we were told that we needed to pick up our pace of play?? This was laughable. Lesson learned, don't book here unless you're starting before 8am. Any time after, be prepared to watch the grass grow before each tee box as you wait for the 3 groups in front of you also painfully wait (#tempokiller). Also, don't expect the pro shop front desk to provide any friendly customer service. Smug and direct at best.

I had a great time playing this course, there was a tournament that we were following but it was not problem. Was grouped with a couple of other fellows and we had a great time. The holes have recently been punched, but played fairly well. Cannot wait to play again.

I enjoy coming to this course to practice my iron game. Par 3's average 148 from the blue tees most par 4's are 300 or less. Course still in pre-spring condition with a few temporary tee boxes.

I've been playing this course for ten years, only because it's so close to where I live , the condition has deteriorated every year. They close tee boxes for up to six months at a time. I believe the greens keepers do what they can but seem to be short staffed. There's no dress code enforced and you're likely to see many people who look like they belong at the gym and not a golf course. I think customers need to be reminded of golf etiquette from the time they check in. Usually when you enforce small rules, the big ones are less likely to surface.

Love this course. I play it maybe once a week. Great prices, great layout, and doesn't take all day to get through, even in a slow day. Can't beat it.

This course is great for locals, only set back is that some people play 5 players on this course and it's not that big, so it can get backed up pretty fast with 5 players.

Very relaxing round of golf

All in all, it is a very nice course. The some fairways are narrow and challenging for a slicer like me. Another challenge was the airplane noise. Fun see them take off though while you are hitting. The greens needed some work. Darn people wouldn't fix their divots. I tried fixing a minimum of 5 divots per hole. Hope others will make a better effort fixing divots.

Course was short and is right by the airport so lots of aircraft noise, but also an opportunity to watch the planes take off and land during the round.

Recommended to practice those short irons and have a relaxing time. Afternoon weekday pace of play was great and the course is pretty easy. Not much room to get into trouble anywhere and greens were in average condition.

Worst aspect was having sprinklers on on most of the greens while we were playing.

Arrived last, for 6:45am tee time, after 7:00am, women's league just started, yikes!

Luck for Me staffer, Brenton, took care of everything, very professionally, I might add.

Because, L.A. was having one of those Glorious Sunny Days, with a breeze blowing from off the Ocean...

Groups of 4 were going out every 5 minutes, and people were still trying to get tee times!

However, Brenton and his Manager, Cliff Webb , set Me up with 3 of the nicest Golfers, Chris, Greg and Scott, for a Beginner to play with.

1 par 5, but mostly par 3 and 4 mixed in all over, great for short, middle and long game. True and fast greens. Fairways are in great shape. Great Pro Shop, but pricey! Not like Georgia, Ha!

If you are from out of state, bring your sticks, cause its Right by The Airport!!!

This is a great course for a chance to just work on hitting them straight. No extreme challenges

A great experience for making a good short game. This course needs wave the next flight on all par 3s to be a strict local rule due to successive short holes. See you next time!

I enjoyed my round and there was no pressure to hurry up. The staff was very respectful and courteous, YES I would recommend this course to a friend.

Easier course. Maintained well.
