Westchester Golf Course

Played the day after a serious El Niño rain. Course is not in good shape but needs to be played in the summer for a real review. Par 3 are challenging from the tips. The par 4s are uneventful but it is a short course. If the greens are in great shape I would say they could be very nice. Bunkers were nicely done. Looks like a good driving and practice area.

I thought booking a tee time later in the morning would be less people, but the course was still packed. I was paired up with a threesome who were not serious golfers, but still a good course as I hadn't played in three months. Was a good course to rid the rust.

The course consists of a lot of par 3's and one par 5. You are literally next to LAX which since the course is fairly easy is a nice experience. Not many places you can tee off next to a 787 Dreamliner taking off.

For what it is worth the value is good and again, not challenging, but worth the experience.

It's a home away from home! They treat you with the upmost respect and kindness..

Great course, they saved the best for last: the last four holes were the best.

i enjoyed playing at Westchester. What I don't care for is Golfnow requiring me to type more than what I choose to type.

Great simple course. Extremely friendly & helpful staff in the Pro Shop. Clean facilities. Pretty easy/flat course with only one water hazard at hole 2. We played on a Saturday afternoon (1:08PM tee time) & were not waiting at all. This was our first time here & I will definitely go back. Great deals through golfnow.com.

Easy course and you only need driver on a couple of holes. Be careful of wayward shots from other groups because the course is crammed into a small area and the people that play here are weekend warriors at best.

I played on a Saturday at 10:30 AM. The pro shop placed me and my buddy in a fivesome, while they put a threesome ahead of us. There were 4 fivesomes just in the few groups ahead of us, and it took 3 hours to play nine holes on a very short course. My friend was bleeding from a blister and the pro shop would not give him a bandaid, they made him buy one. They said they had no first aid kit. By the 3rd hole there were 4 groups waiting on the tee box. Will never come back to this course. To blatantly overbook on a weekend is unacceptable.

The course was great but when me and my friends booked a hot deal on Goflnow that came with a cart they tried to tell us that a cart was not included. Never going to book hot deal or through Golfnow here again and I will end up golfing here much less now because of it.

Rather blustery day. Normal in the afternoon.
Nothing spectacular. As always, paired with a great group of people.

One of my favorite courses to play of all time. I'm not a serious golfer by any means, and the level of difficulty here makes it very easy to enjoy. Beautiful grass, nice greens, and fun hole layouts! Will continue to be my primary course!

I'm a beginning golfer with the "bug." I'm now traveling with my clubs on business trips and trying to squeeze in rounds of golf while on the road. I use the "GOLF NOW" app to find courses and try to find the best prices. I got a round here with a cart for a fair price ($20-$30). I was paired with another single. We played 9 holes at a decent pace. At hole 10 I had to wait around 30 minutes because a golf league started with about 6 guys. So my back 9 was terribly slow. This course seems VERY busy. I guess being in LA and near the airport....they stay pretty FULL. Don't expect to breeze through your round. Just heads up.

Also the airport is across the freeway at the back of the course so you will get TONS of jet noise. I thought it was a cool change to the quiet courses I've been playing. All that noise makes you concentrate a little more. It's also very WINDY from the Jets, Freeway and maybe just location. So your shots will have some wind challenge. The course is SHORT with 9 par 3's and only 1 par 5.

So just know that this course is NOT a nice quiet day out in the burbs.....it's a crowded, noisy city course by a freeway and airport and if you'd like that challenge....you'll love this course.

Not bad for the price, and there are lights to finish a twilight round. pace of play was quick

The course itself was great, but the staff not so much.
A friend and I decided to hit the course for my bday, he was visiting from out of town and didn't bring his clubs. We were told on the course, after we had both already paid, that we both couldn't share my set of clubs. And to top it off , our Golf cart ran out of juice.

Again, the course itself is great...but the staff not so much.

I have stayed in LAX many times and this was the first time I played this course and probably the last. Course was dirty, dirt, birds stuff and feathers all over. Fairways not maintained well and greens seems to be getting lot of play. If you have no other choice and this was the last resort then play. I shot + 6 for the round from back tees the course was too short.

I had not played here in a while. I got a great Hot Deal. My round was done in 3.5 hours, and the course was in surprisingly good condition. Got a great tip from a playing partner that solved my driving issues. It was a good day.

Nice course. The lights are not bright enough to enjoy a round of night golf. Gave up after a while.

The first time I had a 10:30am tee time on a Saturday. The experience was not good at all. They were backed up 20 mins on tee start times and game pace was super slow. The complete course it took 4 hourse 15 mins.

So on this second visit I found $20 deal on Golf Now and decided to give a second chance. Except this time I had a tee time at 7:50 am on a Friday. The whole experience was great with a much better pace. It only took like 3 hours to complete the course which was great.
I dis not rate the food and beverage because I did not make any purchases either time I played at this course.

Enjoyed this quick round, 2 hours, near LAX while waiting for my son to fly in! Only problem was the standing water on the course due to rainfall from previous day! I would reccomend it and will likely play it again!
