This course has the Wow factor. Excellent design. Challenging but fair. Highly recommend playing here. Beautiful scenery.

the back 9 took 3 hours. waiting long for every hole.

the course should not have sold tee time immediately after the USGA tournament group where the players walked and took their time.

it was getting quite dark when we played the last couple of holes though we teed off @ 11.30 am.

when we talked to the manager, he has no sympathy .

Start with a great kept challenging course , add in super nice staff in every area. Makes for a very nice fun day if golf. I’ll be back. Nice views. Mix of easy and hard hikes .

The best golf course in the San Diego county area! I have traveled around the world this is a top five in the entire state.

First time paying Rams Hill. Course opened for the season a few days earlier. Conditions were perfect, yes perfect. Beautiful layout, wide fairways, some challenges but extremely entertaining.Staff very friendly and helpful. Why don't more people play here?

No better course in Palm Springs region. Worth the drive and more!!

Recently played Rams Hill and what a great day. Staff greeted us as we pulled to the bag drop and took our bags to our golf carts. Met Mike the Director of Golf, when paying our green fees and he gave us some awesome insight into the course. Practice range had all the practice balls you could hit at no cost. We finished our round in under 4-hours, as we never had to wait or ever felt pushed from behind. Overall a great day of golf!

My wife and I have been going to Borrego Springs and Rams Hill for over 30 years. I can't say enough about Mike Setchell and the entire crew. They always go beyond our expectations. Thank You to the entire Rams Hill crew, from the golf course, to the restaurant, and all the people behind the scenes. GREAT JOB !

Came out to Borrego Springs for a family event. Got a chance to play Rams Hill. We played on the last day before they shut down for the summer. Special thanks to Mike Setchell and his staff for having us out. The course was in good condition. Eventhough it was super hot out, we were provided cold towels and plenty of ice water. Each hole has multiple tee boxes to pick from and each is pretty challenging in its own way, but it makes the round fun. #18 is a good finishing Par 5, as we also made our way into the restaurant after our round. With misters on the patio, you can enjoy a view of the 18th green and watch other golfers finishing their round, while you enjoy a delicious cocktail or some shareables. The staff was very kind and courteous. I would recommend to anyone to come out and experience Rams Hill. You might leave a few birdies out on the course, but you'll take home a memorable experience.

This course is a jewel. It was in pristine condition.

Now that I have played it I understand why Golf Digest rates this course so highly.

The pro shop and restaurant are also first class.

This is a must play for any golfer.

What an absolute Treat just 90 Gorgeous minutes close!

Having golfed Pebble, Spyglass, CVR, Monterey Peninsula and other famous posh courses globally we found Rams Hill to be Gorgeous, Very Challenging, Picturesque, Meticulously Manicured and Fun as All Get Out.

The staff here is OUTSTANDING! Prices were Great and Folks you Really should play a round on their Golf Boards! What a Fun way to get a"round" (pun intended) in great pace with the Thrill of the Ride!

We'll DEFINITELY be back again and again!

Bucket list Rams Hill for SURE!

Really enjoy playing here. First off, got a Hot Deal which made it a really good value. The setting and scenery are great, staff is extremely friendly, and layout fun. Course conditions were good although some brown areas dot the fairways. More so than I remember in past spring trips here. Not sure if this is due to the course winding down their season, warming weather, irrigation, or other issues. Shouldn't be a deterrent as overall the track is in good shape from tee to green. Greens I thought were a little on the slow side. Would recommend this course to someone wanting to make the trip over the hills to play.

The golf course played fast and the greens were as good as it gets rolling a 10.7. (Listed in the chalk board) The fairways are firm so that a well played shot comes off as it should with no thin lies. The bunkers are soft and fair playing extremely fair for bunkers. If you haven’t played here it’s a definite treat for the true golfer and average mid handicap player. I m a low single digit handicap that could play here every day. The staff is customer service driven and extremely helpful. Thank you rams hill staff we had a great experience!!!!
