Rams Hill Golf Club

This course is worth every penny you pay, every hour you drive. It is truly one of the best golf courses I have ever played.

The conditions are some of the best you can find anywhere. The fairways are so perfect it looks like field turf, the rough is green and cut to uniform length, the bunkers are good, and the greens are perfect, roll smooth without a bump, fast, true. There is literally only one area on the entire course that is not perfect and that's on the right hand side of 18th hole by the water where the birds have eaten the grass down to thin lies.

The layout is fun (great holes), challenging (hard fast greens, undulating, can play long depending upon your tees), fair (mostly wide, generous fairways), interesting (plenty of water, bunkers, waste areas, difficult sloping around greens) - a great track. Scenic on every hole, awesome mountain views in the backdrop.

The range is awesome - ProV1 practice balls, plenty of room to hit every club in the bag, off perfect grass.

The clubhouse is small but new, quaint, in great repair with a cool little restaurant and great outdoor lounge area overlooking the course.

It is truly a hidden gem, amazing experience, one of the best golf experiences I've ever had.

The only thing of any concern here is the wind. It can pick up and swoop down off the mountains with short notice, and suddenly be playing in 30+ mph winds. This has happened to us twice here - where around 3p the winds came up and it was impossible to play (and score) the rest of the way.

Great course in perfect condition

A little costly but for those who love a great course this is worth the price

This is one of my favorite courses. I will return to play here as much as possible. So much fun! Tacos at the turn! Practice facility is top notch. Greens rolling fast, Fairways are big, Scenic views and it’s so quiet out in the desert. A pristine experience. Don’t miss this one. Well worth the drive from Palm Springs.

My friends and I played for the white cheese. One of the guys made a comment. It’s not very long from here an hour later we were glad we were playing the whites. All the short hoes are protected by bunkers and very difficult green. It is amazing experience every golfer needs to try at least once if I have anything negative to say it is in the middle of nowhere, but we will gladly do it again

The tee boxes were so perfect I thought they were turf.

Made the drive down from Palm Springs and the course was in great shape for summer! Greens were rolling a 9, and fairways still in decent shape. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Will be back in the on season!

Course is always a great time! Great views, good time, can’t complain about getting out to Rams Hill!

We played with our group and had a great time! Challenging layout and solid conditions. It was a bucket list type course and I enjoyed the challenge. Friday got a bit windy in the afternoon, Saturday was beautiful.

Rams Hill is one of my favorite courses that I've played. Even though it's located in the middle of nowhere and it tends to get pretty hot when I visit, I keep coming back because it’s such a great place to play. The course is always in excellent condition, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. The layout is enjoyable as well, and having free range balls (Pro V1s) is a nice added bonus!

During the summer, they not only offer a free replay round, but also provide free shaved ice at the turn. There's even someone who comes around with cold water and frozen grapes to help keep us cool and hydrated! It's an overall fantastic experience.

If I had one criticism, though, it would be the food at the restaurant; unfortunately, it’s just mediocre. If the food and menu options were a bit better, this course would be perfect for me.

Would of been nice to know the greens were recovering from being punched before driving an hour and a half to play the course.

Very challenging layout, but fair, beautiful restaurant and amenities..

We played this course at the end of June for my fiances birthday so it was naturally, very hot. Despite the weather the staff and course itself was so cool! Complimentary round ON the day of your birthday will guarantee we come back at least a few times a year to celebrate at Rams Hill. Complimentary shave ice at the turn and after 14- but there’s literally people driving around handing out free frozen grapes, free iced water (with electrolytes) and electrolyte packets. If you play during the summer bring a towel that you can drench in iced water from the cooler, doing this I didn’t even feel overheated once. Everyone was so friendly and one of the guys even mentioned you could replay for free during the afternoon. It would have been great to have lunch and replay 18 once or twice because the water feature and hole layout is so beautiful. Incredible course, incredible staff. Thank you Rams Hill!
