About
Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses, Oak Glen and Willow Glen, as well as an 18-hole, par-3 course. The courses are tucked into a valley, surrounded by mountains and sloping hillsides that provide stunning backdrops on almost every hole. The Sweetwater River runs through the Oak Glen Course, coming into play on several holes including the memorable fifth hole, which is definitely a contender for one of the best par 4s in San Diego. This challenging hole requires an accurate drive across the river. The gently rolling terrain is sprinkled with mature trees. The layout features undulating greens and tight fairways. It is a challenging golf course but it is generally forgiving off of the tees, which makes it slightly less difficult than the hillier Willow Glen Course from Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan.

Nice course but I prefer Willow
Course itself was nice, I preferred Willow Glen but Oak was good too. Fairways and greens were clean and well manicured. The golf carts are probably the most comfortable I've used.
Some player etiquette is needed, my fiancé got hit in the chest by someone's drive that sliced right at us - no warning from the group of four players. Luckily he is fine. Sprinklers also came on at 7PM while we were finishing up the 17th hole; where it's light out to at least 7:30PM maybe the course should update the timing of the sprinklers so players can finish their round.
Potential
After a big renovation, this place is really coming together. It’s going to be beautiful once the landscaping is finished. There are still several areas that are torn up. Greens are aerated and a little bumpy. Overall, this is a beautiful golf course and will be epic once the renovations are complete and everything has grown back.

Great condition, fun layout.
Course was looking really good, just a little sand left on the greens though. Interesting holes and some nice water smattered around without making the course too challenging. The trees aren’t big so you don’t get punished too often for being a little inaccurate off the tee. Given the high prices at so many courses, upper 50s here is well worth it.

Not good for the price. Working on too many holes. Didn’t disclose condition beforehand. Great time the first time we played. Disappointed this time.

Oaks Course in great condition
They Finally finished the majority of the course construction and it look beautiful. Greens and fairways were in great condition. They added a lot of water around a couple holes making them a lot more challenging.

There was work going on the course, with several new grass areas that were roped off. Overall, the course was in good shape, with absolutely excellent greens, which were fast and true. I would go back to this one.

Horrific GPS Experience
Course ok, conditions ok, price way too high and golf cart GPS restrictions a total joke. If you like driving a golf cart in reverse and avoiding bunkers you will love this place. GPS wrong over water on at least 2 holes and 12 and 13 are mostly restricted from carts as they protect the dirt with their GPS toys. Not a fun experience and too pricey. Drive up the road and pay an extra $40 and play Steele Canyon it is worth every penny.

Grate place
Course has some remodel construction going on.On all three Courses but they are putting money back into it to make it better. The rooms are comfortable and roomy with a walk in shower there is a restaurant and bar on site with the casino not far away with free shuttle service.

Lightning fast greens
It's been over 10 years since I last played the Oak Glenn course. I was pleasantly surprised with the course lay out. I especially liked the greens. Kept me guessing the whole time.

Mis lead
A littler upset that the staff didn't tell us that holes 5 & 6 were closed. Should have a offer a break on the fee for that..

Trying to be as detailed
This was a very challenging course with lots of water and lots of sand traps the layout of the closest great one thing that I did not really care for was it was a lot of dead areas in the fairway and then there was just areas that weren’t grown in that either look like they were trying to regrow it or just didn’t do anything to it, overall it was a fairly decent course. One thing I will say is absolutely gorgeous around the course when you’re playing there’s hills and mountains everywhere and it’s beautiful.

Willow Glen Course
Played as a solo on a Saturday morning. Was the first group out after a frost delay, so we set our pace and played through in 3.5 hrs. Great conditions, carts were nice with GPS. Course was mostly flat with a few elevated tees, some nice views of the mountains surrounding the area. Worth the price.

Loved it
Had a lot of fun on this course. Really beautiful and it was in great condition. Greens were incredible. Hole 10 was under construction but they have a small par 3 to act as a substitute. Would love to play again.
