About
Singing Hills Golf Club offers two 18-hole championship courses, Oak Glen and Willow Glen, as well as a 9-hole, par-3 course. The courses are tucked into a valley, surrounded by mountains and sloping hillsides that provide stunning backdrops on almost every hole. The Sweetwater River runs through the Oak Glen Course, coming into play on several holes including the memorable fifth hole, which is definitely a contender for one of the best par 4s in San Diego. This challenging hole requires an accurate drive across the river. The gently rolling terrain is sprinkled with mature trees. The layout features undulating greens and tight fairways. It is a challenging golf course but it is generally forgiving off of the tees, which makes it slightly less difficult than the hillier Willow Glen Course on property.

Great Course. Too slow
Singing Hills is an awesome place to golf. The scenery is beautiful and the course is well-kept. Of course it’s under construction but for a good reason. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly. The amenities are awesome.
The only complaint I have is that the Marshall‘s are not doing a good job of moving slow players forward. There are so many beginner players out there that don’t understand etiquette, or the pace of play. I have been behind groups that fall to two holes behind because they don’t know what they are doing. A little education from the Marshall could help these people improve their pace. There are a lot of parents out there, teaching eight year old kids, how to golf during their round. Education needs to happen on the driving range and the par three courses. There are adults that shouldn’t even be golfing on a long course. But with a little help from the Marshall, they might learn to pick up after 10 strokes and go to the next hole.

Over all enjoyable experience .
Course could be in better condition but 17 of 18 greens rolled smooth . 18 green is very different from the others and rolls slow .

2nd time better
for me.. course could use some consistency in how traps are conditioned and firmness of greens: nailed 18 and the shot bounced off the back of the green.

The course was good . But.
The GPS on golf cart was off by 20 yards. Driving behind one of the carts in are group. On the concrete path my cart would stop tell me to place in R and back up that I was in restricted area. The other carts would continue forward. Didn't help my play for day.

New build
Immaculate new build great challenges on every hole one can argue they modeled this course after many hole we know well. One of the hole offer a Oakmont style church pew bunker. Greens play fast and med frim.

Brutal Pace
Brutal pace of play. Had to wait 10-15 mins on every shot. Marshals don’t do anything to help. It’s absurd for a course to charge this much and not care one bit about the pace of play. It’s a shame because the course itself is nice and in good condition.

Nice updates
The modifications to the course were done well. They cleaned up the trees along the fairways and landscaped many of the ponds. The course is in very good condition.
