About
Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses, Oak Glen and Willow Glen, as well as an 18-hole, par-3 course. The courses are tucked into a valley, surrounded by mountains and sloping hillsides that provide stunning backdrops on almost every hole. The Sweetwater River runs through the Oak Glen Course, coming into play on several holes including the memorable fifth hole, which is definitely a contender for one of the best par 4s in San Diego. This challenging hole requires an accurate drive across the river. The gently rolling terrain is sprinkled with mature trees. The layout features undulating greens and tight fairways. It is a challenging golf course but it is generally forgiving off of the tees, which makes it slightly less difficult than the hillier Willow Glen Course from Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan.

Good and getting better!
You can see and tell that the golf facility is only headed for good things with all the expansion and improvements going on.
The course is rather basic but built for beginners and intermediate players. Grass surfaces are good and getting even better.
Just an example of the quality, this facility intends to be someday, is the fact that the golf Carts are fairly new,, Have faux alligator, seating surfaces, and mag wheels!
Get ready for awesome!!!
Excellent value
Course is in excellent condition and plays great. Green are consistent all the way true. Fairways and T boxes are in great shape. Location really gives u the feel of being away. Highly recommended for all skill levels.
Oak Glen
Oak Glen Golf course was very nice. On a holiday week golf can be very tedious and lengthy. But Go, but Oak Glen was well paced with little to no waiting on each box.
The golf carts were fairly new with mag wheels and alligator vin seat coverings, and each cart had its own. GPS monitor.
It was a lot of work going on and around the golf course, So you can tell They are serious about golf.
I believe there are three or four courses on the property Which can give you the layouts you need to keep interested and coming back.

The Course is Not Very User Friendly
First let em say that this is a very mediocre track for $110.
Here are the issues we encountered:
No golf ball washers on ANY of the Tee Boxes or on the Golf Carts
No drinking water stations anywhere on the golf course
Generally only one rake available at most traps, so, people being lazy, they do not walk if the rake is not close by and the traps are generally not raked where players played their shots within the traps
The cart girl only appeared once during our front 9 and did not appear during the back nine.
The round took all of 5 hours to play. If there were a Ranger, he was nowhere to be seen during our round. That being said, we were not held up, nor were we pushed from behind.
The greens are the best part of the course: they are supple enough to hold an approach shot and are firm enough to have true rolls during a putt.
Considering all of this for the cost, we will not be returning.

Great condition!
We can’t say enough about the quality of the fairways and the greens. The greens are soft and spongy and yet you have to watch the speed! They are pristine right now! Perfect amount of challenge. The water holes add a great deal to this course. We have seen it transform over the years. Sycuan put a lot of money into Oak and you can telll. The course is at its best!

Terrible Experience
Not pleased with the treatment we received at the pro shop or on the course. They charged us for 3 additional players when we only booked for 10. I was told when I booked the tee time that even though we had 10 players they were going to put us down for 12 so that we wouldn't be holding up the rate of play. We ended up having 9 of the 10 players show up because one of them had COVID and couldn't make it. But they decided to charge me $1,200 for 9 players. Secondly we were threatened by the guy from the pro shop that if we were caught playing near our 2 groups of 4, that we would be booted off the course. We were told that the Marshall would be on the lookout for us. This was WHILE WE WERE TRYING TO TEE OFF ON THE FIRST HOLE BTW.
We have played here the last 3 years for our annual company Christmas party. Unfortunately we will not be coming back to play here. We will happily go play another course that is welcoming to our group.
I would also like to reiterate that the guy from the pro shop was super rude and left a terrible taste. My wife was very offended at the way he spoke to us and made us feel stupid for even being out there.
I would like to get refunded for the additional charges to my debit card that were NOT authorized and I feel tricked and swindled by the pro shop.
Gorgeous fall day at Oak Glen
What a fabulous round. Course was beautiful. Scenery was amazing and pace was grand. Love the pro shop and this whole facility. We both enjoyed our day and round tremendously!

Under Construction
No one is going to tell you that this course is STILL under construction (and has been for years). The day I played ALL of the fairways were closed to cart traffic and the 18th hole was completely closed. While I appreciate the improvements, they are still charging a hefty fee to play here in spite of the course not being fully playable. The carts here are geofenced and will just randomly stop working and force you to back up. This would be fine if there was any rhyme or reason to the geofencing. It got really annoying to have my cart stop working for no apparent reason.
