Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Willow Glen
About
Willow Glen is one of two 18-hole championship courses at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort), which also boasts an 18-hole, par-3 course. Nestled in a valley between lush hillsides, the golf courses all offer stunning mountain views. The mountains also help to block the wind, which allows for more agreeable playing conditions. Willow Glen is slightly more challenging than the other championship course due to a hillier terrain and more fairways that are tightly lined with mature pines, oaks, and cottonwoods. The trees shape the landing zones and add definition to the doglegs. Proper placement off the tees is necessary for doing well on this course. Contoured mounding borders the greensides as well as more than 40 bunkers. Water also comes into play on six holes. The 11th through the 15th holes are an impressive stretch that presents a variety of challenges as well as unrivaled scenery.

not up to par
we played this course many times, however, this time, the condition of the course was not up to par. The greens are soft and very slow. We are very disappointed! There is hardly any rolls in the fairway even with patches of dry spots. wont play here for a while.
Nice day. Shaggy greens
Greens real slow and shaggy today. Very receptive however
Great as always
The 2 par 72 courses here are always in great shape. Shot my personal best here 7 over! Layout very demanding, greens rolling well. Wish people would fix their divots on greens more. Great day at sycuan
Advertising is misleading
I love the course but they always put down a price range of $25 to $105 but they never offer the course for $25. Kind of a misleading ad and they should just put down the truth that the least they charge is $50. Also the manager in the Red Tail restaurant,. Armando,r gets 5 stars for great service and always friendly. However the other manger, Annette, could use a attitude adjustment she's not very welcoming for someone in the "hospitality" business.
Oh, what a beautiful morning
The course was in great shape and the pace of play was great. The weather was magnificent, the price ws well worth it.
Decent course
This is a nice course although there was a lot of grass around the greens that was at least a foot high. It makes it impossible to find your ball, and it's dangerous to look for it with all the rattlesnakes lurking around.
Great Course
Loved this course. Had a good mix of challenging holes. Staff was great, only issue was the driving range was closed...not much we can do about considering the pandemic, so no harm no foul, just took a few holes to warm up! Would play this course again in a heartbeat!
Punched greens and sanded
Sad sad sad. Out of all the courses i play in san diego this is the only course that will flat out lie to you about course conditions. Gold card member, charged 50 bucks and no one said a word about the greens had been punched even after i asked why it wasnt busy like usual. Pro shop said course is worth 40 bucks and starter said he hadnt been out on the course yet. When i said i am going to look at 18 he jumped in his cart to go take a look. Just sad to treat customers that way for a buck.
Awesome carts
Played this course before and this time it was in great shape, the practice areas and the course. They have new carts, with Bluetooth and speakers to listen to music. The staff was friendly and the pro shop looked great with plenty of merchandise at reasonable prices. I found a great deal on line and it made the whole experience that much better. Strongly recommend it!
Very nice course. I played it on a Friday and pace of play was good. Not too tight on the fairways and some very challenging holes. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were all good.
Sycuan Golf has good courses.
The golf courses at Sycuan are all well laid out, with different degrees of difficulty, providing a great experience for any golfer. The Pine Glen course offers a good experience for anyone new to golf to have a nice time and not be to overwhelmed. The Singing Hills is VERY nice to play.
Don’t waste your time
Played 100 rounds in 2019 , this was our first for 2020 and what a terrible experience it was. Played 1/11/2020
Huge Delay. Our tee time was at 10:19 and we didn’t tee off until 11:05. Pace was horrendous Marshal and the starter we’re about as useful as non-alcoholic beer.
Don’t waste your time here. Operations and management is terrible. They are beyond unorganized in every way. Go play admiral baker -trust me.
Nice course
The greens need to be rolled and mowed other than that nice place
singing hills
we had a very good time. it was cart path only and the fairway were very long so not much roll
would definitely go again
Couldn't agree more. What a dump. Course was in poor shape. Bunkers were the worst I've ever played. Not sure if it was sand or dirt! Practice range is deplorable. If I didn't have to go back next month for a 2-day tournament I'd make the last round I played on the Willow Glen course MY LAST ROUND EVER at this poorly named "Golf Resort".
