Massereene Golf Club

For November, course plays very well. No temp greens or tee boxes, no mats used, use divot mix if you take any, greens putted good for November.

Much better layout than neighbouring Allen Park and better greens.

Greens not bad for this time of year. 18th green was like carpet, some others had been recently treated.

Quiet enough, just glad the 4 ball in front walked in after 9, took them 2hrs 15 mins. Did back 9 in 1hr 45 once they were off.

Good course and would recommend due to variety of the holes

It's a much nicer course to play in the summer. The greens were good but the fairways weren't. Also,there were 2 air compressors for cleaning your shoes etc,but only 1 was working, and without much pressure. Would expect better for a course that charges high prices.

Cracking course, I love playing here but understandably at this time of year maintenance was being carried out, but some of the greens were overly sanded to the point of almost being unplayable but like I said, I really like this course and this was just a a little unfortunate.

The course was in great condition particularly the front 9 which was pristine, was somewhat let down a little in the back 9 which was a little bit rough around the edges (forgive the pun). With a bit more work on the back 9 this course could easily contend as being on of the beat parkland in the county.

The greens where still pacey even with the rai over previous 24 hours. Again in very good condition but no as much in the back 9.

I would definitely play again and would recommend to others

Thé course was in top condition and we were out early so we played at a reasonable pace and didn’t have any hassle with slow play like the first time we played it but still a very nice course and we will be back again

Very pleasantly surprised that course was open to visitors so close to the DP Tour event. Itcwad in excellent condition. Lots of greenstaff working - mine wad an early start - but they were very aware of pace of play and visitor experience - and repeatedly waved me through. Even the weather played ball. Can't wait to play it again

I hadn't played Massereene for nearly 40 years.

Obvbiously some changes have occurred in the meantime but it remains a very well maintained course offering a decent challenge to a mid-handicapper.

Greens were in excellent condition though some of the fairways were suffering from the lack of rain.

I was impressed at the speed with which everyone without exceptoin was playing to, we were round in just under 3 hours which included letting someone play through.

What a fantastic golf course. Every hole was different and in beautiful condition.

Course was decent . But I don't think I've ever seen more sand on greens before made putts very hard and slowed everything down

Have played here several times and generally quite happy however green keepers are annoying as they seem to follow you round every hole and with leaf blowers and mowers going constantly and don’t have the decency to switch off when you’re taking shots! The greens where totally unplayable due to a mountain of sand that was plastered over them!
