If you've read reviews to this point - you've likely noticed a couple themes. Mainly, bad conditions and bad cart paths. Let's get one thing out of the way - the cart paths are, without question, absolutely horrible. I'm convinced they're sponsored by a local chiropractor. At the end of the day though, just slow down over bumps. It's not your personal cart at risk of damage. Chill out.

Conditions for any public course in this area should have an asterisk. This summer started hot and dry, killing the grass, then all of a sudden we can't go a day without an inch of rain. What do you expect a moderately priced course to do? The conditions are perfectly in step with every other course that can't raise the POA fees by a grand one month to cover extra maintenance expenses. The greens are lush and roll true. The tee boxes are flat. The fairways are mowed.

If you're complaining about the height of the grass in the deep rough... Maybe go to the range and practice so you're not in it all day?

It's a really challenging course with a unique layout, especially from the tips. In this volatile economy, it's a good course for the price. If you're expecting $200 conditions, go play a $200 course.

Beautiful layout but embarrassing conditions. Arnold Palmer would be ashamed to have his name associated with the course. Not worth $30 for 18.

The cart paths were atrocious. The concrete was broken up throughout and parts of the paths were gravel.

Fun layout, not to long. Fairways in good shape, greens a little hairy but rolled well. Would recommend

Course was in decent shape for play considering some of the other courses in the area.that had last minute early tee times available. Will play again in a couple days

I have never played at a worse course than this in all my rounds. For $75 I was expecting a decent Hilton head golf course. Instead it was utter disappointment. There was weeds all over the greens and fairways. No joke one whole had weeds up to my knees. The cart paths are brutal - a jackhammer would be smoother than what I drove on.

Don’t play here. Spend your money somewhere else.

Crescent Point has always had a great layout that uses the natural terrain and lagoons. I play it periodically throughout the year. They have recently put a lot of work in course and I would like to recognize them for their outstanding effort. The fairways, sand traps and greens are in great shape for this time of year. The greens have been top dressed. They have even rebuilt bridges.

The clubhouse has a great lunch and a favorite of my 94 year old father.

If you are visiting or local and have not played Cresent Point in a while it is time to come back.

This used to be one of the best courses around. That was before Brown Golf took over managing it. For several years the course spiraled out of favor. Brown is now out of the picture and the new company has started tending to the course. Tee boxes and greens now have grass and the fairways are green. It’s not there yet but it’s getting there. The course layout is great. It’s challenging but fair.

Fun, interesting layout. Staff was very friendly. Not crowded on a June Friday morning. Greens were in decent condition. Fairways were pretty scruffy.

Read the mixed reviews so I was nervous about playing here. Worried when we started with no grass on practice green. Actual greens weren’t that bad. Greens kinda slow but few bare spots. Lots of the fairways were in good shape but some in the middle of the round needed work. Rough was mostly weeds. Bunkers were also mixed. Some ok some bad. Got reduced price so not that bad a deal but not going back unless they finish improving the course. Seems like they are trying. Even had a temporary green while working on the actual green on one hole. Very nice layout with water coming into play and some great views.

I played Crescent about a year ago and swore I’d never be back. What used to be a great course had be driven into ruin. Brown Golf Management struck again. Today I decided to go play it again and to my surprise it had begun a rebound. It still has a ways to go but the tee boxes now have grass the fairways are green and the greens are coming back. There’s a new Pro who has a clue and a plan. I’m interested in seeing the plan unveil. But from what I saw today this course may be on the rebound.

For public course the layout and conditions were very good. Great value for the money. Easy to get good tee times.The golf cart paths are very rough but the quality of the course and full off path cart rules make up for the bumpy ride.

Course was in fairly good shape but we’d had rain heavy the night before the traps had water in them and sand was packed really tight greens Road true but we’re a little slow overall it was a great course of the money and will receive coupons to play Rose Hill for $25 I’ll say that’s a great deal

Great course design as expected as an Arnold Palmer signature course. Probably the finest settings and views of all the courses we have played in the area. Course condition is only average but OK for a public course. Excellent value for money.
