Tight pin locations
The course was in fairly good condition but the tee boxes were a little beat up. The ball would not check on the greens at all so I had to adjust to the ball rolling out on anything but full short to mid iron shots. I really liked the layout of the back nine, especially the short par 4’s.
Good course, first time I played the course and enjoyed my 18 holes. Fairway turf is coming out extremely well which allows for good lies. Staff was extra friendly which was comfortable. I would play it again and recommend it to others.
Good not Great
The course was a nice mix of straight away holes and doglegs. Greens and tees were in good shape, fairways were a little rougher. Overall I thought the price was a little high, for about the same money I played courses in nicer shape.

Love the hole routing and variety of holes. Great staff.
Pond Work
Tee boxes, greens and Fairways were above average. However, all the work being done on the ponds was distracting. Charging too much h for current conditions.
PACE: "Thank you" to the starter that realized he had a 2some and 2 singles in a 4some, saw plenty of space on the tee sheet, and sent the 2some out and then the 2 singles out together after that. Pace moved much better than a 4some. Much appreciated!
CONDITIONS: Fairways and rough were still dormant, but the greens, tee boxes and bunkers were excellent. Actually, I played 5 courses in Destin during my visit and Indian Bayou had the best greens, by far.
VALUE: Feels like it's priced a little high compared to other courses in the area, but that's probably why their greens were so good.
Great course that is challenging
Had a blast. Course was laid out nicely and pin placements brought on the challenge! Will definitely come back

A very nice course. After playing multiple courses in the area Indian Bayou has the best greens! They role true and smooth.
