Vacation golf
Course was in good shape. The fairways are wide enough to keep you out of trouble. The greens had been recently airriated which normally makes putting more difficult but otherwise had a very enjoyable round of golf.
I was able to take advantage of reduced afternoon rates. Course was not crowded. Staff was courteous and friendly.
Ooops!
Love this course and play it a lot when in town. However, they had punched and sanded the greens and they were horrible. I understand it has to be done, but when I made the tee time I was told the greens would be fine. They were not and there was no discount.
Good layout for mid to high handicappers.
The greens really rolled good that day - faster than a couple other courses I had played. The layout is a lot more forgiving also than my 2 previous outings at other Destin courses. Will definitely play next trip down.
Course is in weird shape
I want to say that the greens here were in fantastic shape. Other than that it was worse than the public municipal course in New York. And we just started the season. Some of the fairways were uncut and longer than the rough around me. I wouldn't even pay $30 to play this course
Indian Bayou is a great golf course
We had to play behind a fivesome!!!
I have never played on a beautiful course such as INDIAN BAYOU where course managers allowed a fivesome out together. Very slow play and I hope I never have to experience playing behind a fivesome again. I would rather not play if that is the case in the future.
Great greens, fast, smooth and true
Great round of golf, starter very friendly, all good folks. I played by myself in 2 1/2 hours, and the course to myself will definitely go back. They are aerating the greens today 5-3 though so forewarning
Average layout. Greens were in good shape. Was told there was on course beverage service, but none ever came by.
The course is above average. The greens were great. I’m not sure if the course has lacked rain but there were several area around the greens and the fairways that had weeds growing throughout. Also the water hazards were very low. Tee boxes also were struggling a bit.
