About
The Par-3 Course at Aquila is a perfect complement to the original championship course at the facility. Although the nine-hole course is easier, it still has a unique and challenging design. Conveniently located just outside of downtown Phoenix, the golf course offers an affordable option for golfers to work on their short game. Numerous bunkers and native grass roughs add some interesting elements to the game. The serene desert landscape also provides majestic views of the Estrella Mountains and the downtown Phoenix skyline. The course has two teeing areas per hole as well as driving ranges and practice greens.

Good value for the money
Overall this was a good course. Small, but typical of a par 3 course. Tee boxes and greens were well maintained, nice and green. "Fairways" leave a bit to be desired as they werent very green, but it's a par 3 course so most people dont spend a lot of time hitting from there. I was told I could replay as many times as I wanted so I played twice. Overall a very good value for the money, especially if you replay once or twice.

Great Iron Course
This pAr three course has excellent greens and very grassy tee boxes. There is no green grass on any fairway, but being a par three course, golfers are expected to hit the green with the tee shot. Distances range from 46 yards to 178 yards and varying distances in between. We got a hot deal for $5 each through Golf Now and could replay as much as we wanted. We did 36 holes. This was a walking rate and the course is quite hilly so I would recommend it for those who enjoy a good walk for exercise. Pace of play was excellent. This is a great course for practising short irons and putting!

Substantial elevation change of areas near the green complexes make this place an outstanding spot for chippin'N puttin'! The greens roll very well with good speed too, the staff(Ms.Lisa+) also make the entire facility so very Golfer friendly -Thank You Folks -B Well.

Fine course 4short game
Actually miss some of the greens on purpose for downhill N across swale chips N pitches. Greens seem fine all the time so R consistent to practice on. Even bunkering sand, YES these are legitimate bunkers W/good sand in 'em, play well ! NFL Championship W/E N saw at least 20 People onthe course as I drove up, THANKS Folks 4 outstanding pace, not letting "perceptions" get inthe way ! B Well.

Nice par three
The cours3 is a great course to practice iron shots. All holes are par 3 but one is 184 yards so it is challenging. There is also a 165 yard hole as well. The tee boxes are level, larg3 and well watered. The greens are very large and consistent with well cut and smooth greens. There is no green fairway grass but since it is a par three, your tee shots should be able to travel from tee box to green rendering the fairway watering unnecessary. The pace of play was excellent. Never waited on any holes. Very enjoyable dY!

Great 9 Hole Exec course
Played course using pull cart with girl friend. Playing black tees provides a good mix of short, medium and long par three holes.
Course in great shape and an easy walk.

A real gem for short game tune-up !
Almost always only a few players out there but conditions are fantastic. Greens rolled very well & had good speed to 'em, a couple/few feet extra roll-out 2watch out4.
The contours and undulation of the course truly add to the challchallenge & certainly help working on the short game ! Thanks Folks.

Great condition and value.
My wife and I played the par 3 at this city course and it was in great shape. The staff said we could re-round for free, so we played it twice for 18 holes. It was easy to walk and we never had anyone in front or behind us. The grounds were very well kept and nice and green. We now want to try the regular 18 hole course next time.

Nice Course
Nice course. Greens looked like they were plugged and sanded not long ago but putted good and fast. The course is pretty forgiving and pretty open but you still have to place your shots. I like the rolling hills and some of the shots were kind of blind shots so it made you think about club selection. Some nice long PAR 5's.

Aguila Short Course
Wife is learning to play and this is a perfect course for her to learn. Course was empty so we could play at our own pace. Will be back again very soon!

The greens were recently "cross-cut" and not very easy to putt on. I took a friend there for the first time he ever played there and we thought the course / greens in particular were not in very good shape.
