Course Highlights
Quintero's dramatic elevation changes and uniquely designed holes make it one of Arizona's most celebrated layouts. Welcoming staff and well-maintained conditions consistently reward golfers who make the scenic drive out.

About

Holes 18
Type Semi-Private
Style Desert/Traditional
Par 72
Length 7249 yards
Slope 148
Rating 75.3

Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

Quintero has teeth

She will take your lunch money! I love this place. It feels like you have the place to yourself at times. If your driver is off, forget about a decent score. Lots of defense around the course, everything is placed strategically. Best greens in the valley!! Oasis in the middle of nowhere in the desert. Wildlife everywhere. It doesn't necessarily bother me, but I can't believe this place doesn't have a real clubhouse yet.. AA

Awesome Course!!

Quintero has been one of my top golf courses that I’ve been wanting to play since I moved to Arizona. The rates are usually very high in the winter time, but I managed to snag an $80 tea time yesterday and had the time of my life. The weather was absolutely perfect 72° big clouds. A nice breeze played in four hours. Staff was super friendly and the course offered stunning views in every direction.

Great course ruined by staff

When we got to the course I told the pro my wife was riding. He said oh you may have to wait past your tee time because we are booked all day and don't have a cart. Maid my wife stand in the parking lot for 1and 1/2 hours until he gave her a cart to come meet me. Multiple employees told us there are plenty of extra carts but he was there boss. Total power play.

Beautiful golf course and wonderful experience.

Very difficult if you aren't hitting fairways. This place can eat you alive. It's beautiful. Every hole feels memorable until you get to the next one. And then that one is just as beautiful. The holes are laid out in a way that you almost never see other golfers. The staff is extremely nice. The pro shop has a small selection of high quality items & the grill had a good menu.

Great Day

The whole team at Quintero was great - very helpful and friendly. The course was in terrific shape and layout was a lot of fun. Pace of play was great with nicely spaced tee times. Not too difficult for a bogey golfer to make bogeys - there are a few pars and even birdies out there. We had a great day and would highly recommend.

Pristine course

The course is in a great condition. Facilities could be improved and carts are almost bare minimum. It is a far trip in the middle of nowhere, but for golf itself it’s worthy.

Quintero GC

this is a beautiful course, with friendly employees. The course and practice facilities are top notch. The group in front of us were slow, did not rake traps or fix divots. Directions to leave #18 and get back to the “clubhouse” could be improved. Ball washers on the carts would be appreciated since there are none on the course. I would definately return for the golf at the right price

Desert Oasis

This was my fourth time playing Quintero and it has never disappointed. The course layout is exceptional, you have to bring your A game or you’ll end up in the side of a cactus or at the bottom of a ravine. The greens played quick and I struggled with my putter, but that was my own fault. They placed new sand in the bunkers recently, which were in beautiful condition. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable, and they even brought around cookies during our round, which was a nice touch. It’s a ways off the beaten path but well worth the trip. I’ll be back.

Rude staff

This is a great course with a great layout, but the experience was overshadowed by extremely poor staff conduct. Doug, the course marshal, was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional, completely detracting from our round. Even more disappointing was Mark, the head golf pro, who borderline defended Doug’s behavior by referencing an alleged pace-of-play standard that was never made known to us. We were told we were 17 minutes behind—less than a minute per hole—which does not excuse the disrespectful way our group was treated. Management’s response was as frustrating as the incident itself.

Best loop in the area

Super great course very challenging. Downside is new bunkers with shallow sand around the greens. Big money to play but worth it!
