Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Nice course and in good shape as of March 2025
The staff was really friendly. Their newly remodeled club house was very nice and the course was in good shape. Greens were a little bit hairy, but still rolled nice. Fairways were in good shape with a few exceptions.
Great Staff, Course and Pace
Was in town for work trip and the course staff accommodated our luggage as we were playing before heading to the airport. Everyone was friendly and could tell they focus on hospitality. Very nice clubhouse. The course is a fair layout and in nice condition. The tee sheet was pretty full and played to 4:10 on a Saturday starting at 10am. Money well spent and very happy we chose to play there. Hope to go back.
Nice Round
Good for the price, especially for March in Orlando. When many courses are overpriced.
The owners have put a lot of money into improvements and there was evidence of a lot of people working to improve things. Clubhouse had been redone so service in Proshop and bar/snack area is great.
Three and half hour round was nice.
Nice Experience
We escaped cold Germany to start our golf season in warmer climes. This was our first round this year in Florida and we really enjoyed it. The course is fun and in good condition. However, we don't have anything to compare it to. We were greeted very warmly and everything worked smoothly. Booking via the golf now app was easy. The driving range was fun, where you hit the balls into a lake. The disadvantage is the lack of distance information. All in all, a relaxed round of golf. Many thanks to Stoneybrook Golf Club
Phenomenal staff!
I reserved a tee time through GN for 28 Feb by mistake; it was supposed to be for 1 Mar. I didn’t recognize my mistake until Cole the gentleman that assisted me on 1 March. Cole immediately looked into getting me tee slot and accommodated me for tee time less than an hour later. I was charged for the no-show on the 28 Feb tee time and didn’t realize it until 2 Mar. I spoke with call reference this charge and again Cole was accommodating to satisfy my mishap. They provided me a credit to be used at the course for merchandise or green fee. This type of customer service should be publicized with great kudos for the establishment flexible accommodations. I also want to recognize Ed the gentleman who accommodated me at starting hole. I was scheduled to tee off with another group of 3 that did not show up but Ed encouraged me to go at it alone or he could place me with another group if I wanted. Again, phenomenal customer service rendered. To top it off, the course is in great shape from tee box to fairway to the greens. Another feature that is memorable is the range where you are hitting floatable golf balls in an adjacent pond! I’m retired Army Soldier that resides at Fort Bragg, NC and will recommend my fellow retired Soldiers to visit Stoneybrook East course when they visit the area!
Course in nice shape
Always liked this course especially now. It’s in great shape and not busy at all which I can’t figure out.
Refreshing changes here !
I have played Stoneybrook East in the past and the course was in less than desirable shape. My son and I played Sunday Feb 23 and we were pleasantly surprised with the new improvements including the clubhouse/proshop/restaurant and the course improvements were refreshing. Fairways grew in nice Bermuda grass and the greens were in great shape and rolled fast and true. Once they tidy up some of tee boxes a little more the course will be excellent. Enjoyed the round and will be back for these type playing conditions more often.
Playing Experience
Absolutely beautiful course, very pleasant to play through. Only one item that prevented a 100% 5 star rating - the restroom on the course. It was gross (everything from the smell, broken lights, peeling paint and a toilet and urinal that has likely never been cleaned.
Sunday morning golfing!
Excellent day for golfing. Pace was nice and course was in good shape. Will go back soon 👍🏼
