Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Refreshing changes here !
I have played Stoneybrook East in the past and the course was in less than desirable shape. My son and I played Sunday Feb 23 and we were pleasantly surprised with the new improvements including the clubhouse/proshop/restaurant and the course improvements were refreshing. Fairways grew in nice Bermuda grass and the greens were in great shape and rolled fast and true. Once they tidy up some of tee boxes a little more the course will be excellent. Enjoyed the round and will be back for these type playing conditions more often.
Playing Experience
Absolutely beautiful course, very pleasant to play through. Only one item that prevented a 100% 5 star rating - the restroom on the course. It was gross (everything from the smell, broken lights, peeling paint and a toilet and urinal that has likely never been cleaned.
Sunday morning golfing!
Excellent day for golfing. Pace was nice and course was in good shape. Will go back soon 👍🏼
Nice surprise
I didn't know what to expect after all the bad Google reviews. But - I met some golfers that told me to give the place a chance & I'm glad that I did.
Course was in very good condition. Fairways were great. Greens solid. Yes, the carts are a bit worn, but they are covering a lot of ground. The layout of this course is huge.
Had a lot of fun. Would definitely return Staff was incredibly nice.
Nice course for money
Good value.course in nice shape and few bare spots. Lots of yardage oprions
Good day at Stoneybrook East
The course is in nice shape! (Tees. fairways and greens.) The greens were thick and ran a tad on the slower side but they rolled fine.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The new clubhouse looks great!
Looking forward to coming back and play again.
God Bless
Nice course, fairways and green in good conditions, slower greens. Soggy near the banks. Very nice staff. Long distances between some holes - fun.
Not too bad!
Slow, slow greens, made an average day putting very difficult. Very wet in spots and the area had not received any real rain in the week before we played, so not sure why. Don’t expect much when it comes to the golf carts, seats torn on every one of them, they are pretty old. No new tech available, bring your range finder. Bar and grill, well, just bar really. Expected to have some breakfast before our round, but a warmed up pre-made breakfast sandwich was not what we had in mind. Nice pro shop though and golf was enjoyable. A little pricey for what you get, but not too bad.
Good value
We played here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. The course was in good condition for this time of year. Fairways were a little thin but greens were a little slow. We played in the morning and the pace of play was great. We will go back again.
Typical Florida Course
Course covers tons of acres..wanders through neighborhood. Good condition, friendly staff. Range has no markers (hit into water). Greens were a bit slow, but were consistent. Golf carts were on their last leg. Would play again.
Good course, not the Greens
I read reviews that said the greens were in good shape and fast.
WRONG-It was like putting on carpet. It's disappointing to play a nice course, hit some good shots, and then putting is a big question mark.
The rest of the course and day was perfect.
Amazing golf course layout
Biggest land space on any golf course I have ever played, 225 acres, winding beautifully through the community. Small postage stamp greens, were a little slow and shaggy, but soft and receptive. Wide open fairways, with water on hazards on every hole. Great pace of play, from a 9 AM teetime. Starter found me after my round in the pro shop and returned my new Bushnell rangefinder; really appreciated that young guy’s integrity.
I almost never write reviews, but...
It was about noon when I walked into the beautiful new pro shop. I didnt have a tee time, but I asked them if there was any chance, on this busy day, that I could get out as a single. They said if I was ready to go I could head to the first tee right away. I was ready. Five minutes later I Hit my first tee shot and went on to play a pretty good round on one of the most beautiful days we have had in a while. What a great day. Hats off to the guys in the pro shop for being great as always, and many thanks to the people that take care of the course...cant say enough goods things about how nice everything looks and plays...great work.
