Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

EXTREMELY SLOW due to course allowed groupings.
The course allowed a group of 6, followed by a group of 5 (most were beginners) early on a weekend. They had NO course etiquette (driving carts up next to green, hitting multiple balls off the tee until they liked one, did not allow groups behind to play through, etc) Once we skipped two holes to get in front of them, never saw another group and played fast. If we would not have skipped it would have easily been a +6 hour round.
No excuse from the course to allow this, no starter, no Marshall on a weekend!! I have no issue with beginners learning the game but atleast have some knowledge of the etiquette.
With no starters and/or no Marshall this is not a repeat course for me which is unfortunate because course was in good shape.
Course Is Coming back!!
Played the course several years ago the greens are improved. The fairways need some work and tee boxes. Had a great time the course was wide open didn't have to worried about pace of play..
Good test
I don't know why no one was out there. It's a great course with some interesting holes and lots of water. Great carts with auto brakes. Excellent putting green that was consistent with the greens on the course. Putts ran true. Greens were firm but receptive. Did 18 in less than two and a half hours. Very friendly Clubhouse staff that said I could go out whenever I wanted because there was no one there which was weird. Nice central location that was easy to get to. I'll definitely be back when I return in the fall.
Great shape
Course is in great shape. It has been improving for a while now and is in the best shape it has been in for a while. Fairways and greens were lush, the traps were full of sand and it was fun to play.
Worth $30-$50
Course is in pretty good condition overall. Tee boxes were a 7/10. Fairways about about the same. Greens are soft but not slow. Not fast but not slow. Bunkers actually have nice sand in them again. First tee hole was a little backed up for a late Saturday afternoon. Opened up after that though. “Busy” here isn’t busy at most Orlando courses. Still played as a foursome at 4 hours on the dot. Don’t go here thinking it’s gonna be a tournament style course. It’s hard but I feel like some come here thinking it’s gonna be Disney quality or something. If it’s a $30-50 tee time don’t expect perfect grass on 100% of the course
Just okay
So it was my first time playing the course. My pros were the pace of play and that was about it. There was nothing exciting about any of the holes, the greens speeds were inconsistent. I can't even remember a memorable hole that I liked. Would I play the course again? Yes of course I would, and that’s because I've played these types of courses throughout my golfing life. The staff were very pleasant and that’s a plus.
If I'm back in Orlando again, which I will be and the price is right, I shall return.
One last thing for the course owners, I would have rather booked through you than that bloodsucking company golfnow.
Looking good
It’s still improving! Fairways green, greens are looking good with almost no dead spots, bunkers look to be getting taken care of. Looking forward to playing at Stoneybrook more this summer
Dry and Empty
Course we very dry like every course in Central Florida right now and the water was very low. For some odd reason, this course is always practically empty. It's a nice course
Pleasantly Surprised
I only live 3 miles from StoneyBrook East. I haven’t played there in over a year because the course wasn’t maintained in a manner that justified the green fees. I was surprised to be met at the first hole with a starter in place. Then I got to look at the fairway which were green and healthy looking. Once I got to the greens , it was picture perfect and rolled true. All of the greens were well maintained. Playing again in 5-days with a foursome. Happy to see our local course looking so good.
