Stoneybrook East Golf Course

As all medium priced courses in the Orlando area this time of year, there were several bare spots on the fairways and the rough was less than spectacular; however, the greens are in great shape and the fairways are acceptable. This is our 3rd time playing the course in the past month and we would play it again, if not for time constraints.

Stoneybrook East is a great value and their greens are comparable to courses that are twice the price in the area.

Our threesome had a great round. Greens were great and fairways good. They are working on making the bunkers better. Played in four hours and enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the range area was good for our warmup. Good value especially if you get a Hot Deal.

Greens much better than last month, tee boxes still rough.

The course was in good shape the greens and fairway where good ,but the sand traps were the worst I have played in a long time weeds and very little sand and no rakes,and there where no ball washers

The course is in not great shape even for the time of the year, $85 is way too much for the shape of the course more of a $40 course spend another $50 and go play celebration golf club. The sand is almost concrete (plus side you don't have to rake the bunkers). Looks like they just need to spend some money and and invest in some maintenance for the course the layout could make a nice course.

The greens was excellent bunkers were poor at best place to play was very good the staff was very good only complaint is they have joined a lot of other courses in Florida and discriminate against people that own property here but don't have a Florida driver's license and rip you off.

Only one tee box on the course(first tee) was in bad condition, fairways and greens were in great shape. The greens rolled true. Several bunkers were hard pan. The rough areas were dry and crusty with many bare spots, and washed out areas.

We haven't gotten much rain in the past three months in central Florida,. Not sure why they are not watering the courses, a little water would go a long way in improving the conditions of this course and all other courses in the area.

The course needs a lot of work. The sand traps were unplayable. The layout was nice and could be a nice course but it needs a lot of work

This was the 3rd time we played this course in the last 2 weeks. The reasons: Plenty of good tee times; Pace of play was really good the 1st two times we played;; Other than bunkers (no rakes available), the course was in good shape foe the time of year. The cost was a little more than some others we played but we will play it again in the future.

Located on the East side of Orlando this course does not attract all the golfers looking to play the high priced courses down towards the resorts. Very easy to get a tee time and will pay less than half of what the big names charge. Course was in good condition with greens running true. Wind presented a little challenge on some holes but the layout is great. Played here a lot when I lived here 20 years ago and it still does not disappoint. Would definitely recommend you give it a try. Worth the little drive away from the resorts.
