Stoneybrook East Golf Course

Great layout. But the course was ridiculously wet could barely get any traction on the fairways there was a bunch of donuts and burnouts done all on the fairways and any green I hit besides a chip the ball would completely plug into the greens super soft and wet. Don’t wear expensive golf shoes here.

The course is struggling due to lack of funding. It could be an amazing course. The layout is great, but needs money to make a difference. They are trying to hold on at this point. Good luck.

Layout is as good a course as you’ll find. Unfortunately the owners refuse to do even minimal maintenance to keep the course in good condition. Staff is awesome. The standard rate is way too high for the condition of the greens. But for the golf now “hot deal” rate I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off.

The course is nice layout but fairways are thin during the summer. Greens are bumpy.

First off I’d like to say first that I enjoy this course and have been here a handful of times now. The layout is good, par 3s are enjoyable and staff is friendly and laid back. After going here many times now I realize there are always the same things I wish would get better. The 1st tee is next to the driving range and there are always balls in the fairways and also makes you realize your chances of getting smacked with a ball are significantly higher. The random balls off the first tee takes away from the start to a beautiful game of golf. Greens are not quite there, always a bumpy patchy ride, sitting water in areas of play that cost me a good bounce in the hole today! If those improved I’d come here more often. Until the next time!

Greens need attention. A lot of areas with water accumulation on greens. Great layout but fairways are either too wet or too dry.

Was improving, now greens seem to be getting worse.

This is one of my favorites courses in Orlando, great design, good conditions and a perfect day

Nice layout. noticed the greens needed a little work, just an observation the holes needed to be changed less and be done by someone who knows what their doing

Lost to many golf balls but the course and weather was perfect

The good:

- Very nice practice area with a large putting green and an aqua range.

- Greens were lovely and rolled true, but they were much slower than most other courses in the area.

- Great course layout. The holes are all well designed, and there is plenty of water to make things interesting. Each hole was pretty memorable.

The bad:

- SLOW greens, and they were very squishy when you walked on them like they had been seriously over-watered. I don't know how much rain Orlando has gotten recently, but I played two other courses nearby within a day of this tee time, and neither was wet.

- Tee box and rough were in pretty poor condition. It was very hard to find a place with enough grass to tee the ball up as well as find a good stance. Fairways were decent in most cases.

- EXTREMELY long distances between holes (1/4-1/2 mile in some cases). It's definitely unwalkable.

- Clubhouse looks brand new from the outside, but the inside, including the bathrooms, looks straight out of the 80's. Everything in the bathroom looks and feels old and worn, and the rest of the clubhouse looks like it's just storage.

- Food options were extremely limited in the pro shop and snack bar with only a few pre-made sandwiches other than snacks, and there were no food options near the course either, so eat before you get to the area.

The ugly:

- NO WATER JUGS ON THE COURSE and no beverage cart on a Sunday at peak playing time! Unacceptable for a FLORIDA golf course.
