About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Green Valley Golf Club
Due to troubled economic times this course has become difficult to enjoy. The layout and narrow tee shots are a challenge for golfers of any level. The fairways and tee boxes are the worst for wear and difficult to find good areas to tee or hit from. The greens were fast but this was due to barely having grass on top. The price was certainly higher than the conditions for this time of year. I hope this course can get back to its former condition as it's a great old school course that allows you to hit every shot in your bag.
Deserves HIGHER ratings.
Went to place last week rated 4.1 should be 3 or 2. (Green Valley, Clermont) Theinoapce 3.6 deserves at least 3.9 or 4. Its a smaller course , manufactured homes hood. But it's still got some long holes. More importantly it's is good shape. Fairways have grass. And greens are good and fast. For this type of hood it's great and very cheap to play.
Course is in bad shape.
The course layout is fine, but it’s really in bad shape. It's not worth the money; maybe once it’s fixed, it will be fine, but we shall see!
$20 course.
I think a couple holes had a few green areas. The putting surfaces were mostly muddy. When the grass isn't thick and full it's a dark muddy surface right underneath. They were puttable tho. U just don't care if it goes in or not.
Tough Shape
The course would be alright but for the lack of grass. Fairways and greens are both pretty sparse. Not sure if it’s just that time of year for them but there’s simply not much to hit your ball off of.
Great friendly casual course
We appreciated the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and the price was right!
The course is on ok shape. Nice wide fairways, quite a few sand traps and a couple of water holes.
The club house is a bit outdated but staff are friendly.
Green Valley Round
The course was in decent shape, the first few holes have lots of trees surrounding the fairways which make it challenging, not a big fan of the sand base in the fairways, hard to compress the ball, but lots of challenges and a nice layout.
T Blocks
Played white t blocks ..all were covered in sand ..front 9 was patchy fairways..back 9 in much better shape..greens on back 9 were better..overall you get what you pay for..
Nice layout
The course is nice although some of the tee boxes could use a little tlc. Was a little slow but it was a nice round of golf
