About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

First time playing there
We went here as my stepson’s birthday as he hasn’t played in over 10 years. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we got behind a couple where the guy was teaching the girl with him and didn’t pick up balls to speed up. We got ahead of them on the back 9 which went much smoother. Overall course in good condition. A lot of trees grabbing our balls! 😂 we would go back. Cost was a little high I guess because we reserved weeks ago to solidify the date and found cheaper online day before.
Nice changes in elevation
Green Valley offers several holes with changes in elevation that are uncommon for most courses in Florida. The greens were in good condition but some of the fairways had bad spots. This is an old-style Florida course that offers good value as long as your expectations are realistic.
Layout is a challenge.
First three holes have lots of mature oaks that make it a challenge. Good layout but not in the best condition… could be better. Overall a fun course.
Fun Course
Overall, I will return for another visit.The price was realistic. Greens had been punched a week or two ago but played pretty true and will get better over time. Fairways in some cases were ok other cases needed attention. Fun layout.
Good Value !
Nice course for the money. One of the few courses that give you a break after 4 o’clock, should be after 2 o’clock, as nobody’s out there in the heat, so why make everybody start so late?

It was a nice course. The grèen had been air out but they weren't to bad. I would recommend this golf course to a friend.
Country course with a great layout in very substandard conditions. If you just want a practice round to hack it around, good value for the money.
Course in good condition
Fairways and roughs in good condition, sand traps were raked and soft, green rolled well and true, did not hold the approach shot, had shuttle breaks that were hard to read.
