About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Timing and team up twosome = BAD
I read reviews and wanted to judge myself. Course lay watch ok. Greens rock hard. Pace of play was dreadful. Was forced to team up with two other players and long day was made to feel even longer. Will not be returning
Fairways
Why oh why are the fairways cut so short? Very hard to hit a wedge.
Holes 1 and 2 are not the best in shape and layout
the first two holes make you wonder if this is what the rest of the course is like. Fortunately it isn't and except for some rough spots it is a fun course to play.
Nice course
Great place to golf for the price, the greens need some work but the fairways are decent. Not the best not the worst, would play again though
Greens
The entire course needs water badly. The T boxes were rough. But the greens on the entire course were in terrible shape. Almost unplayable. They were burned out. Not watered. Cut way to thin. Fungus growing in many. # 8 and %13 were really terrible. Unputtable. I’m a single handicapper and know the golfing world well.
Even placing a ball down by hand the ball sometimes moved 20-30’. Greens need chemicals. And water. And need growth
I play all over. At least 10 different courses every month. Green valley greens need major help. .
