About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Green Valley
Great layout. Tough course. However it is fair. Right now golf plus free lunch is a fantastic deal. Highly recommend
Green Valley
The greens are in terrible shape. Areas where different grasses have invaded the green with different texture making it impossible to do well putting. Also areas of the greens have no grass at all. Okay place just to get out and swing the clubs but other then that I would not recommend the course. There are other courses near by in better condition. Also pace of play was non existent. Waited at every tee box and for every second shot. Not an enjoyable round of golf.

Greens were cut short but clumps of clippings on greens. Fairways are burned up from drought and yet a guy was cutting them short.

Poor conditions everywhere and yet they are cutting the fairways short again today. Drought. HOT. Greens were cut and not cleaned so clumps all over them.
Good round
Staff was very friendly. 7:07am tee time. The Starter allowed our twosome to go off on the back nine since there was a foursome going off the tee first. Greens were very soft and had some rough areas. Fairways were in good shape

They are undertaking several needed improvements. Still fun to play!!!
Course conditions have gone way down
This is a fun course that I've played many times and it's never had the greatest conditions, but was worth the relatively low cost. But in the year since the last time I've been here, they've really let the course go. The greens were rough (although they were about to aerate so that might be expected). But crab grass and weeds have taken over the whole course so it's often hard to tell the fairway from rough.

No money
The poor condition overall indicates a lack of maintenance funds or the superintendent needs to be releaved of his duties. I've played previous rounds where the conditions were much better. Sad!!!!!!!

Greens were covered in weeds. Fairways were in better condition. Nice layout but course overall needs work.
