About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Four for Golf
We played in a heavy fog. The greens were very fast. The course is in a rough condition as it had lots of weeds in the fairways. Most of the greens were in good condition, but a few needed some work.
NICE WEATHER CLERMONT
FIRST TIME PLAYED HERE IN ABOUT 6 MONTHS WAS REGULAR FOR MANY YEARS, WAS ADVISED BY MY FRIENDS COURSE SO SO. I FOUND COURSE NOT TO BE SAME AS THE ONE I PLAYED FROM 2000 TO 2020. NEEDS WORK NOT BAD FAIRWAYS IN SPOTS HARD AS MY DRVEWAY, NOT THE GREENS OF YEARS GONE BY, THEY ARE STRYING TO BRING IT UP TO SNUFF, I GIVE THEM PAT ON THE BACK FOR THAT.
Used to be better
I haven’t played here in probably 6 months. I remember it in better condition. I have seen it in much better shape. Staff was very friendly on check in. Tee boxes are sandy and some are not level. Fairways have seen better days. Who knows what your ball will land in? The fairways are the “put it on the good grass” rule. Greens are in decent shape. Some roll fast and some roll slow. For the price, especially the hot deal, you get what you pay for and it’s not bad. Overall, everything is just okay. Personally, I won’t be playing here again until the course improves.
Inconsistent
First several holes were a goat pasture. The rest of the course was better. Greens had weeds and inconsistent speeds. Wouldn't pay over 20.
Great Layout
Played course for the first time due to last minute availability. Course needs some attention. Some challenging layouts, best thing a out the course.

Great layout. Tough course. However it is fair. Right now golf plus free lunch is a fantastic deal. Highly recommend
Green Valley
The greens are in terrible shape. Areas where different grasses have invaded the green with different texture making it impossible to do well putting. Also areas of the greens have no grass at all. Okay place just to get out and swing the clubs but other then that I would not recommend the course. There are other courses near by in better condition. Also pace of play was non existent. Waited at every tee box and for every second shot. Not an enjoyable round of golf.
Green Valley GC
Greens were cut short but clumps of clippings on greens. Fairways are burned up from drought and yet a guy was cutting them short.
