Green Valley Country Club
About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Very fair challenge
For a state where most of the fairways are burn out, the greens are in tough shape because of weather conditions. I found the course to be in very good shape. The greens rolled true. They weren’t excessively fast and they weren’t dead slow. I would actually compare to WDW greens. A lot to be said for the greenskeeper. Some of the holes you had to stop and think before hitting your ball and that’s what I liked highly recommend the course
This has a great layout
had a great outing with the foursome i played with on this course on Thursday morning, the price was a little bit high but other than that it was in great condition, pace of play good, layout excellent and I shot 77 from the white tees at my age of 68 years young!
First time, First impression
Below average practice facilities
First 3 Holes really like a cow pasture
Rest of the track is decent.
I think is over price
Couse condition need improvement, tee box and some fairway need some green grass, only thing good is green, green very challenging and slopping.
A pleasant surprise.
Enjoyed this course a lot. Great layout. Course conditions were good. Greens were excellent.
Definitely will return.
Greens were fast staff was slow when inside to pay
Overall very good shape. A lot of leaves but greens roll nice. Elevation changes are fun. Only negative was left my range finder on cart. Called and no where to be found. Other than that course in good shape and fun to play.
First time back
I played this course about 2-1/2 decades ago and remembered nothing about it. I am very glad I came back as it was truly a fun course to play. Was the course in pristine condition? No. Was it in good shape? Definitely. Greens were slow AND fast depending on your lie. Pace of play was spot on. The ONLY thing I didn’t like about this course was the fallen leaves from the many oak trees made it a little difficult to find your off the fairway ball depending on the position of the sun. This of course has NOTHING to do with the course itself. Staff was very friendly and a big giant shoutout to Tyler the young woman who worked the shack bar. One of the most DELIGHTFUL a young woman I’ve come in contact with. She exudes happiness and was a pleasure to have her as our server.
The course was in good shape but the greens were slow.
Staff Terrible
The environment is more like a club for older white guys...Several minorities, including me, have been hassled about sharing carts with people with later tee times, paying extra cart fees after fully prepaid, and talked down to for being a few minutes late at course closing cart return......They don’t hire minorities in the shop areas and don’t wear masks.... they get very defensive when asked about pandemic protocol and the cashier gives looks of disgust to mask wearers..
