About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Great layout!
Course was in great shape! Layout is fun and challenging, wildlife is amazing as well. SOLID 5 STARS all around! Great job Deer Island !

nice layout, green a bit unfair in places, with some brown spots. Nice variety of up and down hill
Save your money
Course is in horrible shape. Nice carts. We paid $34 on hot deals - I wouldn’t place this course even if they paid me. Stay away
Always enjoyed this course
Due to very dry conditions lately its fair to say the course was in need of a little help from Mother Nature. Mainly in the fairways. The greens were in decent shape all things considered with the weather we've had lately.
Would be nice to have some concrete cart paths installed as some of the areas especially under the big oaks are pretty bumpy.
Overall, I really like this course and the staff!

Course reminds me of old times
The fairways, if you want to call them that were in terrible shape with very little grass. Greens were in decent shape being only a little bumpy and a nice speed.
Nice Layout with challenging greens
I love this course. But with no rain for weeks, the course was dry and hard. Along with a 15 mph wind, made for a tough day.
Horrible condition
The course is in horrible condition. The tee boxes have NO grass, the fairways had very little grass, the greens are burnt and rough does not exist. The only good thing was the sand.
Neglected
Not sure why, but the course is not being taken care of properly, from dirt tee boxes to dirt fairways. It was starting to look better last year and now it looks worse than ever, and there are even weeds growing close or on the greens. Both myself and my golf buddy like the course but will not be back until there are major improvements made as Unplayable right now. Hope to see things change.
The greens are in terrible shape the fairways are in terrible shape and tea boxes are in terrible shape played it last year was in bad shape was curious to see if any new developments came about can’t say yes to that
