About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Fun course play
Fun course to play. Fair condition. Unfortunately played behind a 5 some that thought their 5 could play faster than our 2some. But it was entertaining since we were able to watch all 5 play all their shots on each back nine hole! Didn't know 5somes were allowed on public golf courses.

Course is in good condition. Pace was excellent. a great day.
Good Value
The after 2 pm rate was good. Most courses in the area this time of year are $65-$130
Good golf
Played this course on a windy warm day. We are used to golfing in Canada where the grass is lush and green and the rough is deep grass. So it is much different to have a minimum of grass on the fairways and almost none in 5he rough. But on average, this course is fairly good, the greens are somewhat true but the breaks are very subtle. Overall, the course was good value for the price paid. Both the pro shop attendant and the starter were very friendly and accommodating.

Degree of difficulty on the slanted greens made putting a fun challenge!

Slow pace of play, no Marshall. Front nine we waited on every tee box. Very fast greens. Fairways and rough were thin. Dormant Bermuda ???

Green Valley
Haven't played this course for several yrs..it is a challenging course with all the doglegs...if u don't stay in the fairway u will have problems with the leaves from the trees and it becomes almost impossible to find your ball...Was disappointed they wouldn't let my wife ride with me...first time I have run into that issue down here...
A few of the par 4's were a tad long for me even from the senior tees..but it was still fun to play...
