About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Great layout
Green Valley is an old school golf course. It has sweeping fairways that curve left and right, up and down. Great elevation changes add visual appeal. A small lake anchors the middle of the course. We really enjoyed ourselves and especially appreciated the quality of the greens.
Condition
Course condition was ok but but not great played a nearby course which was cheaper and in much better condition so likely won’t play here again this wintet
Northern foursome first time playing course
We played the tips for a challenge and found the 1,000 yard difference to be a big challenge. Our group is 260-275 yards off the tee. The tips are real here. Overall we enjoyed our round and the course. We would definitely play again. A lot of the greens were small and precision was critical. Great course!
Good value
Greens are excellent, pace of play was good
Off the fairways are sometimes sparse, but, then again, you’re supposed to hit fairways
Didn't appreciate allowing 5-somes out on the course. It really dragged down pace of play. No beverage cart on course either...
Grass
Was very good conditions for golfing in January. Greens I good condition and nice hitting of green grass on fairways.

Liked course layout and pace of play was great. Course was in ok condition and greens were nice. Enjoyed round.
Nice for the money
Correct communauty golf.. Very fast and ondulated greens. Playing conditions Ok except for tee off of senior and womens that need more attention.
Good layout
Some very challenging holes others not as difficult. Greens roll well but also difficult. Pace of play a little slow played in a little over 4.5 hours.
Amazing Course, Amazing Staff
The course is in alot better shape than some of the higher priced courses. Little to no waiting from hole to hole. Maureen in the pro shop is one of the best staffing personnel in the shop. For the price, I would rate it in the top 5 courses I've ever played, and I've played from Florida to North Dakota. If your in the Clermont/ Groveland area, stop and play a round. You wont be disappointed.
Very challenging
Hit this course with your good game and you will walk off feeling like Tiger Woods , course in good shape, get up there and go play it.
