Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Poor maintenance
Parts of the course are very poorly maintained which is a real shame as the course is interesting with some good challenging holes and well laid out. Very friendly and helpful staff
Poor maintenance
Nice course, it’s shame they don’t maintain it better. In places the cart path is very dangerous. The greens are in poor shape.
Maintenance
T boxes, greens and cart paths need maintenance. Greens need work urgently especially with some hole placements. Some parts of the cart paths are dangerous so be carefull.
Nice DAY AT THE KING
All GOOD FAIRWAYS GOOD GREENS SLOW LITTLE BUMP ALL IN ALL NOT BAD BUNKERS GOOD. WORTH THE $$$
Kings Ridge Championship course
T boxes and greens in poor shape and need work. Overall acceptable for the price paid. Fun course
First time Kings Ridge
Nice course love the elevation changes. Greens were a little bumpy but mostly adequate. Tee boxes not in the best shape. Over all would play again.
Decent conditions for price
Greens are bumpy but fast. Other than that, course conditions are great
Kings Ridge
Course condition is poor. Not kept up with repairs and greens in poor shape
Goose Grass Heaven - The Greens
Kings Ridge Championship course is one of the best golf course layouts in central Florida. That being said it is ashamed to see the course greens so full of Goose Grass. The greens are in need of a lot of TLC and get rid of the goose grass. Making putts is tough enough without having clumps of goose grass in the line of your putt. Please take care of this goose grass problem.
Greens...Oh My!!!
Greens looked like the surface of the moon. Balls bounced all over the place when putting. Never could get a true line. Several greens had serious weed issues a well as dry spots in multiple areas. Fairways were ok. I would much rather play on crappy fairways with nice greens though, than what we played on with this course. I doubt I will be back.
Greens to stay away from
one thing that can make or break a course is it's greens. Everything else can be good but bad greens will ruin the experience.
Nice course, not too hard
A little over priced and I feel the staff should make players aware of slow play.
I had 3 guys in front of me who looked like they’d never played before. Using the blue tees hitting their ball 40 yards off the tee and didn’t offer me to play through. Luckily they gave up after 9 holes
Nice, fun layout
Tees, fairways and greens are in good shape considering the lack of rain. There are cool elevation changes on all courses in Clermont. The greens are getting a lot of weeds in them but still putt well.
Solid with great layout.
Haven't played in a couple years - decent shape, better than last time, but still needs TLC. Great layout
Greens neglected
Greens were in terrible shape. Big patches of grass missing or weed growth. I am a beginner and usually play the lower end courses, so I expect some unkept portions, but this was excessive. For $50 a round, you can find nicer courses to play.
Kings ridge
All good, disappointed with the on course cart vendor who drove passed us without stopping
Bang for your buck!
This course to me is one of the best deals you can get in central Florida for a quality golf course. The new ownership is doing a great job so far.
Great Value course
This course is a great value! Although only 6000 yds from the emerald tees. You still get to carry some water, 150+ par 3s and some longer par4s. Greens are in better shape than those changing over in the area. Great staff, and great deal for youth in afternoon with youth on course.
