Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Lack of marshal control
Was hit into several times by group behind. Called clubhouse was told they were sending someone out. Never did.
Play it again.
We really enjoyed our round at Kings Ridge despite the fact that it was cart path only (November 2023). It is great layout with very little water which we liked. We loved the fact that they offer discounts. We will play it again.
How to improve your chipping
This is usually a good course to play, but unfortunately at the moment there are no putting greens, just an area of multiple different decease grasses where the putting greens used to be, so to make the round interesting don’t ruin your putting, just pick your ball up drop it off the green and practice your chipping technique which is always good to work on.!! Hopefully the guys at Kings.Ridge will get the course back to its former glory , and then it will be worth the 40 bucks I was charged but sorry Mr Kings Ridge it is not worth that much money now!!

Excellent
Played a few times now, always in good condition, had to play the front 9 twice due to overseeding, but not a problem ,will play again when back over in florida in may next year.
Give it a miss for now
The course is undergoing repairs and re seeding, greens were not in great shape. Should be back to being great in a few weeks.
always in good shape, greens had just been top dressed .
course had just been topdressed so no driving on the fairways. Greens were bouncy and slower than normal, but this was expected due to recent top dressing. Still enjoyable round.
Golf now. Do your job properly
I paid for 18 golf holes not 9 holes twice,!!! The golf courses said they told you that 9 holes were not in play , so why did you not pass this information on to your customers? .? Because of this the course was jammed, even the course marshal said get ready for a 5 plus hour round and he was correct ! I left the course on the 13 th hole after 4 hours 30 minutes . I have been a loyal customer of yours for many years , This is not the way to treat your customers, I don’t blame Kings Ridge for this, they done the best they could, Golf Now is totally to blame for not passing on the information they were given.. In future please let us know if there is a problem with a course hence we will go to another course and not waste our money and time
Wait until Overseeding is finished
The only thing I knew in advance was that irrigation was to be running during certain times. When I checked in , I was told I would have to play the front nine twice. Was not happy about this. At the first hole, the starter said the course was cart path only meaning staying on the rough on either side & walk to your ball. The first hole was backed up at least 20 minutes As the round was going to be extremely slow & I was not going to be able to play the back nine I called Tee Off & they kindly refunded my money. Frustrating experience
Poor Customer Sevice
When we arrived at the course, we were told that we would have to wait to hours after our scheduled tee.time and could play only the back 9 because the front 9 was closed for seeding. We ended up playing the Executive course. Very disappointed that we were not contacted in advance that our round had been cancelled. This is no way to ru a business.
Booked through GolfNow BUT course closed due to re-seeding !
we booked the course less than a week before play BUT when we turned up it was closed due to re-seeding.
only option was to play their par 3 course (The Ridge) which was okay but very poor value for money.
Worth $50 per head, not more...
Need to have a guide to get around 18. No drinking water to be found. No 9th hole cart service. Friendly staff. Well maintained course. Could use GPS screen in golf carts.
Seems easy but it is not
We love the course and found the greens tough, so we are coming back to try to better our score :)
Great bargain
Great course at reasonable prices. Will come again.
