The course was soaking wet from rain but the grass was in grate shape I will have to play it again under better conditions

I liked the layout of this course and despite rain it was a great experience. It has allot of slope but no blind shots?

I've never played such a slow round in my life. The slow pace of play ruined the experience. We had been on the course for almost five hours on the 14th hole. I had to give up and leave at the 14th. My friends that stayed said that the round took more than six hours. That is rediculous. The course was way over booked.

Good time and nice round. Course in good shape (bunkers were a bit "under the weather" due to recent rains). Good value and friendly group. Will be back.

I played here Sat and Sun this week. conditions are the best around. Always consistent staff is friendly and accommodating. Lots of elevation changes and very scenic.

The greens were in good condition and rolled well. The fairways were cut very short with dead grass clippings everywhere. Course was kind of brown for the time of year. Driving range is not the best.

Greens looked as though they had been abused. Very bad shape. Not sure if it was from the hot weather, the recent heavy rains or golfers that did not know how to take care of the greens?

I played here a few years ago during the summer months, and the course was in excellent condition then. Even though still a good layout, and a good test of golf, the course conditions in general had deteriorated since I last played here. The greens were ok for August Bent grass greens, but the fairways were spotty in places, and there were weeds growing all over, especially in the rough. So, the course aesthetics were not what I had experienced before. Still would recommend to play here, and hole 8 is one of the most difficult holes I have played. Long demanding uphill tee shot, and then a long approach
shot.

Good track with nice elevation changes. Greens rolled great, fairways good, couple of tee boxes could have been better...especially given they were par threes.

Pace of play was very good for a Saturday.

Look forward to playing again.

Rough was crazy high would lose your ball first cut. Even the help sId it was unfair and all due to the lawnmower breaking. Not worth the money

From being greeted by staff at the bag drop through a sandwich and beverage after the round I thoroughly enjoyed my return to Chestatee.
Course was in good condition especially considering the heat of the summer. Will make it a point to play again.

The course was fun with several with beautiful views. The greens were not in too good of shape with a few greens with little gras and lots of ball marks, but that was just a minor drawback. The course was fun, pretty and challenging with lots of slopes and hills. A few blind tee shots to fairways you can not see from the tee box.

Great course conditions and very fast pace of play. One of my favorite courses in North Georgia.

Way too many elevation changes and there is no way to know what line to hit unless you are with someone who knows the course really well. Some of the holes are just plain stupid in regard to the lines required off of the tee. Too many other good layouts to play this course again.

Greens were very bumpy due to being punched a couple weeks back. Other than that the course was in great shape. Nice variety of holes on this course.- no two are alike.

I've played Chestatee on occasion for over 15 years and this by far was the worst I've seen the greens. They were awful. They had been punched within the last month, but that does not excuse the bumps and gouges on the greens. Slowest I've ever seen them. Every club has to aerate their greens, but most ROLL them and use sand to make them more playable. Also, I pulled plenty of rocks, not pebbles, out of the bunkers. This place has gone downhill and yet they still rope off half the warm up area for "members." That's cute. What's the membership qualifications, having a pulse and $100 month for dues. Your not getting your monies worth.

course was in good condition, only negative was greens had been aerated about 1-2 weeks earlier and they were still a little bumpy

A lot of elevation changes on this course. Would not recommend to walk this course. Bring all your shots because it will require all different clubs. Greens are quick.
