Chestatee Golf Club

Cart died and slowed us up. Leaves and rocks in fairways and bunkers when add that with maintenance of greens just okay, it made the value not so good. We live close to course but can't afford regularly but even with a deal price wasn't pleased. My teen had played here previously with member thought maybe the holiday had affected the maintenance.

This is an excellent course. Challenging without being overly difficult for mid-high handicappers. Some very pretty holes

I am handicapped (other than golf)and the staff went out of their way, not only to handle my needs, but make the entire day a wonderful experience. I actually got to play a full 18 holes starting at 2:12 Pm with sunset at 6:45PM.

This was the first time I played the course, typically play Heritage when I visit my son. This course has a very nice and interesting layout. There are some challenging holes (Hole #8 in particular), as well as some rewarding short par 4's. There are very nice elevation changes throughout - with just one peek at Lake Lanier!
The pace was fair, as the "mens group" was out ahead and the marshalls tried to get them to keep pace.
Greens were in very good condition, and had a nice pace to them.
Practice facility is nice, and the who clubhouse seemed to be nice as well.

Rain a lot this week. course was wet. Food was pricey and not very good. People were very nice.

Too slow pace took 6 1/2 hrs to finish.
I didn't see any ranger to control.

I've been up to Chestatee a half dz times this year...Sat. afternoon was almost perfect weather...cool, not cold, sun shining, breezy...after some rain the night before, carts were on the course, a few wets spots, but tees, fairways, bunkers in good shape...greens back at a quick pace after the fall aeration...somewhat softer after the rain and a few pitch marks not repaired, we got ours and then some...very nice putting surfaces...not lightning fast as they were in spring, but enough undulation and speed to command your respect.

Lots of elevation change as you might imagine, but very playable...A RH faders course for sure.

The course was in good shape (inconsiderate players are not good at fixing ball marks) But this is not the courses fault. This is a fun course to play some holes are difficult others are moderate to easy. Staff was friendly and pace of play was good. I would recomment this course to most levels of golfers.

Played this course for the first time on 9/13/14. Greens still had some aeration affecting them but overall the course was a great value for the money. In excellent shape and challenging. I will definitely play it again.

They have recently aerated the greens but they are still in good shape. Course is absolutely beautiful! Its about a 45 minute drive for me but I still get out multiple times a month and bring my friends and we all love it! Check this course out its defintely a great value.

Longer course than have previously played here in N. Georgia for the ladies. Slow play on the course. No marshall present. Greens were slow after having been punched the week prior. Course in good condition. Good touch having range balls included in the price. Grill room was very slow to get served, and had no quick turn food (like hot dogs or premade sandwiches). Won't rush back.

Almost every fairway has a left to right slope mandating a tee shot left of center. Greens held very nice. Pleasant staff. No marshals...but "Player Advisors" that are friendly and helpful.

Chestatee remains a quality experience. Every aspect from the people, course conditions, complimentary range, etc. always impress. The course is in great shape with only the most minor of issues - none of which will detract or deter you from playing well or often.

Overall the course was in good shape. The greens ran true but a little slow. The sand traps were in good shape even with being a little wet. The course offered some unique challenges and hole layouts that make it interesting for a first time player, but the staff did a good job giving you some background before you tee off.

Great greens. Maintenance was out all over the course so you know that they take care of it and it shows. Free range balls and great staff. You can't beat it when it's a hotdeal

The course was in great condition especially the greens.

This is a beautiful course with great elevation changes and gorgeous scenery on Lake Lanier.
Best greens I have been on all year.

Will certainly return for more rounds. Great value!

Other than the heat...94* we had a great day! Lots of H2O kept us going! Great layout, good sand in traps and nice fairways and greens! Another great value from Golfnow!
