Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

Great value

If you play Central Florida courses and have a limited budget for the pastime as a casual player, you could do much worse than this course. More grass than many of the courses in this price range. Layout has plenty of water and sand to provide a challenge for us seniors. I’m sure I will be returning in the future.

Rough course. Previous 18 hole layout down to 9 holes. Poor conditions, spotty fairways and even worse greens. Woman in the clubhouse was very nice, her husband not so much. This could be a nice course, layout is great. Will not return.

the course

course needs signs to direct you to the next hole. also yardage markers. and there were no rakes for the bunkers. a shame they still do not have 18 holes like they once did. but a nice 9 hole course.

Not really that good

The greens were patchy with many dead spots. The traps were hard and unraked. There were no rakes to straighten up the sand after use. This course is a shadow of the course it used to be. What a shame.
