Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

204 yard (blue tee) Par three third hole Photo submitted by Edpro on 07/08/2013
Terrible employee
Aweful mannerism and unprofessional. Wanted to explain how he makes no money off of golf now even though the course was destroyed, rough, and soggy. Would recommend no one going there. Also, only 9 holes even though it’s labeled as 18.
Still Fun
Wish it was still an 18-hole course, but that is life. Grass will be going dormant soon. Hope it makes it through that and the snowbirds.
Course looks pretty good, is wet and soft in a few spots. Don't know if they can afford to overseed this year.
Attitude hasn't changed!!!!
Don’t book hot deal unless you want to be lectured
Apparently whoever is running the course is not happy with the amount of money he gets for hot deals so he needs to complain to the customers who book the hot deals. Change the prices if you are not happy with the amount of money you get a good idea would be to change ge the price.
Unique setup
This course was unique in the respect that it's really only nine holes that you play twice from different tee boxes. The reason I came back is this Course is set up so nicely looks like a championship course. Conditions were really good. I played it just before hurricane so there was nobody else on the course, weather was perfect.
Can you even consider this a gold course?
1)greens were horrible
2)no back nine
3)sell as 18hole course when there's only 9
4)one par 3 had makeshift green made of dirt.
5)bunkers overgrown with weeds
Still a descent layout. Management still sucks
Worth playing for the price. Play one set of tees for the front nine and another for the back. Either way you will get a workout.
To Bad
Swiss Fairways is still fun and a challenge even though it is only 9 holes. I only play it when there is a low rate on Golf Now. Work on the 8th hole is progressing nicely and will be ready for the " snowbirds"
It is what it is!!!
It is still a good layout for the average golfer. Back to the original 9 holes which was a good layout way back when. Egos appear to have gotten in the way. Too bad!!!
9 Holes Only
We were never told by the General Manager that the back nine was permanently closed and we had to play the front nine twice. Greens were loaded with weeds and were very bumpy and slow. Overall, not a good experience, stay away!
Not Great
Went out to play a round for the first time in about 10 years since moving to the area. Was disappointed to hear the entire back 9 are not available so you have to play the same 9 twice. That would've been manageable if the course was in better condition. The fairways were dead and greens looked like they hadn't been touched in some time. My buddy and I checked in at 8:50am for our 9am tee time and were told the other pair we were matched with were already waiting for us at the tee box. We said thank you, got the key to the cart, and drove over to load up when the attendant in the shop came out and yelled across the parking lot that the pair was waiting on us...still 5 full minutes before our tee time. The only positive thing was the rate of play, but that was probably due to low attendance (rightfully so). If you're in the area just spend a bit extra and go to King's Ridge you won't regret it.
No happy at all
I never was notified that this course was only 9 holes to be played twice because the back nine had been close for more than a year.
I no happy at all.
Been Ruined
My Dad told me if you can't say anything good, Well,
you know!!!
18 hole listing, but only 9 holes.
You pay for 18 holes & have to play front 9 twice as the back 9 is closed. Also holes on some of the greens. Will not play their again.
