Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

204 yard (blue tee) Par three third hole Photo submitted by Edpro on 07/08/2013
Great Value
Great layout, small greens, 2nd hole par 3 all carry, for me, it rocks.
Great Value for the Buck
By far, the most affordable for the golf experience. Greens are small with lots of slope. Fairways have filled in nicely. There is a good mix of both easy and hard holes. Pace of play is excellent.
Good pace of play today
The pace of play was very good today. The greens have some pretty rough spots these days.
Sand traps have been designated as waste areas allowing for better positioning and no rakes are available.
Good value for a nine hole layout played twice per round.
Will return when available.
Course keeps getting better
Beautiful layout. Small greens require good iron play. GREAT VALUE
Great deal for the money
Great value. Course has vastly improved. Fairways are filling out. Hole number 2 is a great Par 3. All carry.
Not bad
First time at the course and it was a decent place to play. If you don’t mind loud music as the ski school is next-door and cuts through the course on several holes. Great place to play at a very cheap price
Greens very poor they was no smooth putting.
Sand traps were not maintained grass growing and no rakes.
Many wet spot on fairways. Only played the front 9 twice due to some work on the back 9.
Just ok
3rd hole not even worth playing due to how wet it is. Sludge! Sprinklers must be broken on the 5th tee box - brown & dry. Watch out for extra water from 3 on your left! Next few ok. Putting surface on 8 is seriously bad and 9 isn’t much better. To get in 18 you play same nine. So 6 out of 9 are relatively decent.
Go Somewhere Else!
First off, the lady in the pro shop is extremely rude! You can’t have that attitude and be working at a low grade golf course. I was one of five other cars there, you’d think they would be more friendly. Also, she tried to force me to ride in the cart with an older man. If there was a tournament or if it was busy, I would completely understand about doubling up, HOWEVER, like I said, 5 other cars there, I’m NOT riding in a cart with an older man I don’t even know. I’m a younger lady and that makes me extremely uncomfortable, and the fact that the lady in the pro shop had a problem with this is disturbing. NEXT, the BACK 9 is completely closed ! That wasn’t communicated to me, also, there was no course map/score card. Two of the 9 holes were flooded. We haven’t had rain in a few days so you definitely don’t want to go here the day after a rainstorm. In conclusion, even though it is a cheap course there are better options in the immediate area, for example, Green Valley, cheap course, all 18 holes are open, nice spread out of holes, and friendly staff!
Not an 18 hole course
The back nine appears to have been closed a year or 2 ago, so you are playing the front twice. Some of the holes are in decent shape, but the fairways are deceiving. A thin layer of green grass over mud, making approach shots difficult. The green were true, with a couple burned out.
Hey they are great over there. Keep the flow going.
