Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

204 yard (blue tee) Par three third hole Photo submitted by Edpro on 07/08/2013
What a shame
Only nine holes now. I understand a big ego got in the way.
Like the course
Hole #2 is fab. Beautiful par 3. Love the water skiers. I will be back
Do not recommend
If I could give zero stars, I would. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Don't waste your time or money here. Rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming staff who acts like their course is up to par with Bella Collina.
Me and my husband's tee time was 0934, we were paired with another couple and spent 7 minutes on the first hole (with 4 golfers) to be told by the ranger that we "needed to speed it up" and just "throw the ball onto the green" after each of us hitting twice.
Unfortunately for them, they were backed up with 10 carts full of people waiting to tee off, as you're able to book tee times EVERY TWO minutes at this course, haha.
After asking for a refund and explaining the rude encounter with the ranger to the pro golf manager, he laughed and told my husband to get out of the club.
Beautiful course, but you have to replay front 9
Only 9 holes, so you have to replay front 9. That being said, it was a beautiful 9!
Roachie
Brought a few friends from Canada and they loved it especially seeing the ski boats along the course . Great time with lovely people.
Paid for 18 it’s actually a 9 hole course
First 9 holes played in 1 1/2 hours. Then the next 9 would have taken 4 hours. Two groups waiting on #2 hole a par three. CRAZY SLOW. Left after the first hole on the second nine.
9 hole course
I was a 18 hole course. Found out there was a dispute in court and they lost so had to close the back nine. Nobody wins in this. The people who won the lawsuit cannot do anything with the land and the golf course loses 9 holes. Shame that happens but the front nine is definitely worth playing 2 times. The par 3 over the canal is very cool. Sometime you have to wait for the boat pulling the skiers on the water.
Owner doesn’t advise anybody that you have to play the front 9 twice to get the 18 holes. Luckily I read the reviews beforehand.
Swiss Water
Disappointed that this was advertised as an 18 hole course but is a 9-hole course. The 9-holes are good but because 9-holes were eliminated the layout of course is not good with putting green and range away from the 9-holes. Interesting that on the second hole we had to wait for water skiers before hitting our tee shots over the water to the par-3. I'm glad I played with a Hot Deal. I would have been disappointed paying full price for 9-hole course that is slightly above average in conditions.
Will be back.
Clean fairways, challenging greens, wonderful staff, and some very good boys in the clubhouse. Wish they still had the back 9, but I thoroughly enjoyed my first time playing this course. Will absolutely be back.
Did not realize you had to play the front 9 twice. Found out when we went to the 10th hole and someone on the driving range told us
Cdn traveler
It would have been nice to find out at booking or at least at tee off that we had to play the front 9 twice. We drove our carts to the 10th only to be told that we had to trpezt the front 9.
Swiss fairways
A challenging 9 hole layout with 4 tee levels. Great scenery, water and greenery. Enjoyed watching the waterskiing.
Disappointed
We should have been advised course now is only 9 holes-back 9 is closed off. You play the front 9 twice to play 18
