Swiss Fairways Golf Course

First off, the lady in the pro shop is extremely rude! You can’t have that attitude and be working at a low grade golf course. I was one of five other cars there, you’d think they would be more friendly. Also, she tried to force me to ride in the cart with an older man. If there was a tournament or if it was busy, I would completely understand about doubling up, HOWEVER, like I said, 5 other cars there, I’m NOT riding in a cart with an older man I don’t even know. I’m a younger lady and that makes me extremely uncomfortable, and the fact that the lady in the pro shop had a problem with this is disturbing. NEXT, the BACK 9 is completely closed ! That wasn’t communicated to me, also, there was no course map/score card. Two of the 9 holes were flooded. We haven’t had rain in a few days so you definitely don’t want to go here the day after a rainstorm. In conclusion, even though it is a cheap course there are better options in the immediate area, for example, Green Valley, cheap course, all 18 holes are open, nice spread out of holes, and friendly staff!

The back nine appears to have been closed a year or 2 ago, so you are playing the front twice. Some of the holes are in decent shape, but the fairways are deceiving. A thin layer of green grass over mud, making approach shots difficult. The green were true, with a couple burned out.

Pace of play was super at 3:30. The course is improving.

staff is very unfriendly. Complained that I was 20 minutes early. Wouldn't give me a cart or check me in, because I was too early.

Sorry to say,what was once a fun little course is now junk! Every year I would come to Florida and look forward to playing Swiss Fairways! This year I could not believe how bad the shape of the course is. Greens on 8 and 9 are about gone! Tee boxes are not level. Fairways are weedy. What a mess! Worst of all ,the back nine is not available for play anymore!! To get 18 in you have to play the front 9 twice! The course shoul put that fact in their desciption! What happened?

The course is both challenging and fair. Small greens. Lots of water. On the shorter side.

Very disappointed with this course. Didn’t know it was now a nine hole course. Had to wait for morning tee times to make the turn. Course was very wet in some spots. Greens were not in good shape at all. Many bare spots. This used to be our go to course. Green fees are the same as when it was an 18 hole course. Not worth it, even using a hot deal. We will not go back. So disappointing.
